Among the minimal, warm-toned rooms typical of any Wright structure, Reid placed mannequins cobbled out of archival trims and hardware, from copper buttons and brass rivets to scrap leather and his signature heirloom ribbon. The mannequins had on a selection of relaxed Reid signatures like washed linen jackets, jacquard sweaters, distressed denim shirts, raglan sleeves, knit pants, pleated shorts, as well as Reid’s debut eyewear line, and leather lace-up sneakers with K-Swiss, some with an antiquated cracked effect.

Billy Reid shines at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta

As if I could love Billy Reid more than I already do, I'm offered bourbon while shopping. Classy! AND look at the seating area [pictured above]... Billy Reid at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta is an experience for the senses for gentlemen [and ladies too.] There is a relaxed elegance about Billy Reid that is felt from the moment you enter the space and are greeted with a smile. The rustic wood floors, marble tops and brass fixtures balance nostalgia and modernity seamlessly, making the store very welcoming to all who enter.

Billy Reid at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta features menswear, womenswear, shoes and accessories. Billy Reid's style and aesthetic is classic with Southern influences. Always modern but not trendy with rich textures and customs prints. This CFDA menswear winner and CFDA Fashion Fund recipient pays close attention to detail which is evidenced and supported with superior tailoring. All these qualities are a part of what makes up the DNA of the brand.

The first look I was shown was a gorgeous, midnight blue, shawl collar tuxedo. It was tough to turn it down, but since the other show guests, including the Atlanta & Company host, were not in black-tie, I had to look away.  Of course that really wasn't a problem because there were so many amazing choices. I definitely wanted a blazer, so that was our starting point. From there we moved on to the shirt, bowtie and shoes. The shirt, which featured a custom-print, felt so good to the touch and the fit was impeccable. [My] overall intention was to look sharp and dapper - an easy task with Billy Reid. I sported a pocket square with the Billy Reid signature mark of black/gold stripes. Thank you to Casey, Harrison and Aaron for all their assistance and that shot of bourbon!
