ETRO Spring 2017 Menswear

If more of the "real men" models at the Etro Spring 2017 menswear runway had walked alongside their dog it would have made for a better show. There is nothing original or interesting about using non-professional models. It's been done a lot. And for the men who walked barefoot - gross.

What about the collection? Ikat and moire patterns ruled, with the occasional, yet cleverly subtle use of Etro's signature paisley. Etro continued its departure from the skinny pant - kudos to them for that. Short robes, blazers and suits made their way through the show with Etro's elegant and stylish sartorial stamp.

I don't subscribe to the selfie revolution, which is not to say that I never... I just don't that often. I'm certainly not of the narcissistic look at me I'm gonna tell you how to dress because I have more style than you

blogger mindset. OR worse... look at my outfit, but it so I can make a commission!  I try my best to share and provide fun and interesting content on fashionado. SO today, I'm trying out something different. I want to appease my friends who keep asking me to talk about MY style. I've resisted, but here we go: In this faceless selfie, I'm pictured in last night's outfit to the GOCA Patron cocktail party at the Capital Grille in Dunwoody. I knew I wanted to wear a blazer since it was a cocktail party. I chose one of my old faves, a Givenchy camel color wool jacket which I've had forever. Fits great and keeps me warm! I love pattern. The shirt is from Express and of course, a pocket square is a must to complete any look! Silk. Orange. Century 21, NY. BTW, I did wear pants: Banana Republic, navy, with a subtle banker's stripe. Hey, have a great Saturday everyone!
