Andrew Kwon debuted his eponymous RTW eveningwear collection for the SS23 season on September 12. While he has presented on the bridal calendar in the past, this is the brand’s first presentation during NYFW. I think it's a fair assessment to say that Zac Posen has become a household name. If you don't know his brand of elegant and sophisticated womenswear, then surely you know him as a permanent judge with Project Runway.
As a young and extremely talented twenty-one year old, Zac Posen rocketed to stardom within the fashion industry - one of fashion's golden boys. His red carpet looks were showstoppers and graced A-list celebs like Gywneth Paltrow and Kate Winslet. But as we all know, what goes up, eventually must come down and golden Zac was not exempt.
This documentary, directed by Sandy Chronopoulos, will premiere on Vogue.com on September 6 and will take us through the highs and lows of Zac Posen's career.

A-list beauties everywhere at The Oscars but there was only one real risk-taker and that was Janelle Monae - she gets my best dressed. She wore that Elie Saab gown like a winner. Look through the slideshow above to see my fave picks, and to be clear, these ladies and gents were gorgeous, smashing and glamorous, but I want to see show-stoppers at The Oscars. Of course, one can say that the La La Land / Moonlight fiasco was a show-stopper. Literally!

The gown was accessorized with exclusive pieces from Atelier Swarovski Fine Jewelry. This is the first time vintage fashion has been put under the spotlight by Suzy Amis Cameron’s eco-conscious cause as a solution to help better the environment.

The spaghetti strap couture dress, which originally debuted in Paris in January 2005, is embroidered with cream crystals and waves of small white jet beads featured in a two-tiered skirt. The dramatic plunging bodice is made of jet and black crystal teardrops and is completed with a black satin cummerbund at the waist.
To complete the head-to-toe look Emma Roberts wore exclusive created diamond pieces from Atelier Swarovski’s first fine jewelry collection. Lots of yellow on the red... The Golden Globes kick off award season with varying and glistening shades of yellows, pinks, pewter, blues and blacks. I didn't see any one singular offensive look on major celebs; just a few that could have done (without) puffy sleeves, more accessorizing and different styling. The gentlemen did quite well too. Their tuxedos were a good fit and their pants had little to no break, as it should be.

It's difficult to imagine that things could get even more glamorous at Cannes in May during the annual Cannes Film Festival, but it's true. It's happening. The Cannes Fashion Festival, May 20-22 will run alongside the famous film festival and attract an international audience of trendsetters, jet-setters and fashion lovers.
There's already an abundance of fabulous fashion at the Cannes Film Festival - peruse through my photo gallery. Every A-list celeb at Cannes treats the world to a fashion show by wearing the leading labels on and off the red carpet. So really, it only makes sense that a festival dedicated to fashion would occur.
While the Cannes Fashion Festival is completely separate from the film festival, it will be happening at the same time. It's brilliant. The energy and enthusiasm is already established and empowered with the most famous names in the industry. Cannes Fashion Festival will be hosted at the luxurious Hotel Majestic Barrière, which happens to be at the heart of the action, and will feature a series of fashion runway shows from menswear to womenswear to accessories and swim. The Cannes Fashion Festival is truly "celebrating" fashion on an international platform and will be streaming live for everyone to experience the stylish three-day festivities.
