oyster crawfish festival

For the past eleven years thousands of music and food loving festivalgoers gather annually on the Southwest Porch at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park to celebrate the Oyster Crawfish Festival. For the 12th installment on Saturday, March 28, Park Tavern will once again serve up approximately ten thousand pounds of fresh Louisiana crawfish that are brought in the night before - making it Atlanta's biggest crawfish festival. Featuring live music performances throughout the day, Wasted Potential Brass Brand, known for its New Orleans standards, sarcastic pop, blues, funk and hip hop will get the crowd going before Mudcat takes the stage playing their Delta-style blues mixed with funk, ragtime, gospel, Cajun, jazz, vaudeville and Georgia blues. The annual spring celebration will welcome back Cowboy Mouth, the hard-hitting band out of New Orleans known for its unique style of ‘rock and roll gumbo’ and high energy shows, as its headliner.
