Last night, at the Patron party, a swanky soiree hosted by the W Buckhead, it was announced who the guest designers are for this year's benefit.
Jeffrey Fashion Cares promised and "unforgettable experience" and they are making good on the promise. Co-chair, Vis-a-Vis Salon founder Jeffrey McQuithy with fellow co-chair Louise Sams at his side, had the great pleasure of making the announcement that Proenza Schouler will be the honored guests this year!
Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez are fashion's golden boys - and they're cute as hell! The fashion world's love affair with the dynamic designers began at Parsons in New York when Barney's bought their entire senior collection. Quite the accomplishment, especially to be so young. But that was only the beginning for their success. Proenza Schouler were the receipients of the CFDA Perry Ellis Award for new talent in 2003 and the CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year Award in 2007 (which they shared with Oscar de la Renta, an honor in itself).
Proenza Schouler is modern, sexy and chic. They take a minimalist approach to fashion but deliver intricately constructed garments. Their polished aesthetic grabbed the attention of retailers, editors and celebrities from the get go and their collections continue to evolve from season to season. Always sophisticated.

Kudos to Jeffrey Kalinsky, Jeffrey Fashion Cares founder, for taking the annual benefit over- the-top. This year's event will definitely be one of the best and hopefully raise lots of money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Atlanta Affiliate and the Atlanta AIDS Partnership Fund (AAPF).
The 18th Annual Jeffrey Fashion Cares will take place on Monday August 30th at 7pm. The charitable fashion event includes a reception, fashion show and after party. And Proenza Schouler! For more information, please visit www.jeffreyfashioncares.com/atlanta
