This is how I like Jennifer Lawrence: In Couture!

Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence has become one of my red carpet faves in recent years.  Every award season, she is one of the A-listers I'm most excited to see what fabulous frock she's wearing. Her hair, shoes, accessories are always styled to perfection. This is how I like to see J-Law. Not naked. She does Dior well. Dressed to the nines. Even when she tripped, running up to receive her Oscar, she did so with elegance and grace.

Perhaps I'm just a silly queen but at least I know right from wrong. I hope those bastard hackers are found and prosecuted as well as everyone who has shared the nude photos. The only advice I can give to other celebs [and for all of us too] is stop taking naked photos! In no way am I blaming the victim so don't misconstrue my words. But since our privacy is sadly comprised from time to time, let's not give those fuckers ammunition!

George Brescia: George B. Style

George Brescia
George Brescia

George Brescia is a powerhouse of fashion, style and now you can add author to the list.

George captivated a standing room only audience yesterday with his intoxicating charm, wit and fashion wisdom. I was privileged to sit on the Eddie's Attic stage with him while he shared a wealth of style knowledge and a lifetime of experience. George was in Atlanta as a featured guest speaker at the Decatur Book Festival.

His book, which is flying off shelves, Change Your Clothes, Change Your Life ... because you can't go naked, takes a deeper, more personal approach to looking your best. Sure, George breaks down the "how to's" and the "what nots" but there is so much more than that in his book. Having a closet full of "Perfect 10's" begins with a mind set, a positive personal attitude and confidence.

If diamonds are a girl's best friend, then George's book is her "fashion bible" and will teach her how to wear them. I strongly urge you to get a copy.( You can order yours on Amazon!) Also, make sure and visit George's website: GeorgeBStyle.com and check out his web series Dress Up!

It's National Bow Tie Day!

Bow Ties
Bow Ties

Today we celebrate the bow tie and its place in fashion. Because I'm in gym attire, if I'd sport a bow tie I would surely draw unwanted looks and glances at the gym. SO... instead I will honor my favorites. [From the top] a navy blue vintage bow tie with a repetitive pattern. The middle one was given to me by designer Viktor Luna. It's one of his digitally printed designs. And the third bow tie, a handsome black & gray camo pattern from Neiman Marcus. Happy National Bow Tie Day!

Candy Spelling: Candy At Last Interview

E. Vincent Martinez and Candy Spelling

E. Vincent Martinez and Candy Spelling

In May, I had the pleasure of sitting with Candy Spelling at Estate in Buckhead to chat about her new best selling book Candy At Last. She had been doing all the Atlanta media for nearly 24 hours and by the time we met, she was exhausted. But Candy is professional and all class so she hung in there while we discussed her incredible life with Aaron Spelling and her relationship with Tori. We also spoke about her Hollywood movie star encounters - such fabulous stories - and what life is like now that she's all grown up and on her own! Get your copy of Candy At Last here. You'll love it as much as I did!!!
