Buena Vista Social Club Sets Atlanta Premiere at Fox Theatre

The Tony® and GRAMMY® Award-winning musical BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB™ is coming to Atlanta for its highly anticipated Atlanta premiere at the Fox Theatre, running October 27 through November 1, 2026, as part of the Regions Bank Broadway in Atlanta 45th anniversary season.
Individual tickets go on sale Friday, August 7 at 10 a.m., with prices starting at $49. Tickets are available through the Fox Theatre box office, online at Fox Theatre, or by phone at 855-285-8499. Groups of 10 or more can contact the Fox Theatre for group sales.
A Story of Music, Memory and Havana
Inspired by the legendary album and the musicians who created it, BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB takes audiences on a journey through music and memory into the heart of Havana.
The story follows legendary singer Omara Portuondo, once celebrated as the “Queen of Feeling,” whose voice became synonymous with Cuba’s musical golden age. After years away from the recording studio and the spotlight, an ambitious young record producer presents her with an unexpected opportunity, forcing her to confront her past and reconsider her future.
Described by The Washington Post as a “jaw-dropping, soul-stirring must-see,” the production combines the sounds of Cuban music with a theatrical story about big dreams, second chances and the enduring power of music.
Five Tony Awards and a GRAMMY
BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB earned five Tony Awards®, including Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical for Natalie Venetia Belcon, Best Sound Design of a Musical for Jonathan Deans, Best Choreography for Patricia Delgado and Justin Peck, and Best Orchestrations for Marco Paguia.
The production's musicians also received a Special Tony Award, recognizing the band that brings the iconic music of Buena Vista Social Club to the stage.
The Original Broadway Cast Recording subsequently won the GRAMMY Award® for Best Musical Theater Album.
Written by Tony Award® nominee Marco Ramirez and directed by Tony Award® nominee Saheem Ali, the musical features choreography by Tony Award winners Patricia Delgado and Justin Peck, with music supervision by Dean Sharenow and orchestrations, arrangements and music direction by Tony Award winner Marco Paguia.
The North American tour is produced by Orin Wolf, John Styles, Barbara Broccoli, Atlantic Theater Company, Luis Miranda, LaChanze, John Leguizamo and NETworks Presentations, with Executive Producer Hannah Rosenthal.

BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB originally premiered at Atlantic Theater Company in New York City in December 2023, earning nominations for Best Musical from the Drama League and Outer Critics Circle.
