bruno mars david guetta versace

Multiple GRAMMY® Award-winning musicians/producers Bruno Mars and David Guetta announce the release of “Versace on the Floor (Bruno Mars vs. David Guetta)” – the official remix to Mars’ latest critically acclaimed song, available now via all DSPs and streaming services (LINK).

The third and most recent track from Mars’ hugely successful platinum third album, 24K Magic, “Versace On The Floor” is already an RIAA gold-certified smash despite having only impacted at multi-format radio earlier this month. Additionally, the official audio stream has racked up more than 117 million plays on YouTube alone.

Now, the track receives an official remix treatment from the globally renowned producer/DJ David Guetta, which he debuted at his Ushuaïa residency in Ibiza last night, broadcast internationally on Facebook Live (LINK). With a rhythmic, riff-heavy bassline underpinning Mars’ soaring and seductive vocals, the track also features synthesized electronic breaks, creating an arrangement that seamlessly blends the musicianship of both artists.

Of his experience remixing Mars’ hit single, “I’m super proud that I had the opportunity to work with Bruno Mars on ‘Versace on the Floor.’ It is more than a remix; it is a collaboration and combination of different worlds together. My goal was to make it more dance and DJ friendly, but still respect the music that he came with, and keep the song and his voice in tact because it’s so beautiful. I hoped to create something that would not just be for one community, just like Bruno makes quality music that speaks to a wide audience. He’s really a next level musician and songwriter. I knew that already, but by working on his music I realized it even more so.

Recently, Guetta and Mars opened and closed (respectively) the Billboard Music Awards, with Guetta performing “Light My Body Up” alongside frequent collaborator Nicki Minaj, and Mars closing the show with the television debut of “Versace On The Floor.” Bruno Mars gave an electrifying opening performance on Sunday night at the BET Awards and won his first BET Award for Best R&B/Pop Male Artist.

Guetta and Mars are no strangers to the top of this summer’s charts, with “That’s What I Like,” coming in at #1 on Billboard’s “Radio Songs,” “Top R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay,” “Hot R&B Songs,” and “R&B Streaming Songs” charts, while also holding strong at #3 on the overall “Hot 100.” The single – which previously ascended to #1 on the “Hot 100” (Mars’ seventh single to top the main chart) – is now certified 3x platinum by the RIAA, marking sales and streams in excess of 3 million.

Likewise, Guetta’s collaboration with Justin Bieber released just two weeks ago – “2U” – is already a Top 20 smash in the U.S., while rocking the Top 5 and Top 10 on charts around the globe. Furthermore, the track’s official “2U (The Victoria’s Secret Angels Lip Sync)” companion visual has logged nearly 48 million views.

No stranger to top collaborations, David Guetta has teamed up with international icon and Def Jam Recordings superstar Justin Bieber for his latest single ‘2U’ – out now via all digital service providers (https://Guetta.co/2U).

Global superstars David Guetta and Justin Bieber have an innate ability to turn any track into a chart-topping smash and that can certainly be seen on ‘2U’. Working his magic once more, the internationally renowned producer stays true to his signature fusion of electronic and urban beats; weaving in Justin Bieber’s distinctive and sublime vocals, for a track that is guaranteed to be the anthem of summer 2017 and beyond. The collaboration between the two is surely to become one of the biggest of this year.

David Guetta: ‘’Justin has such a unique voice and I have so much respect for his talent but also for his choices. He took some risks reinventing himself lately in such a cool amazing creative way. I'm very proud to finally share a record with him. I feel like 2U is an incredible combination of emotion energy with a huge melody combined with edgy sounds.’’

After the smashing announcement with the help of Victoria’s Secret last week, the official release of the track arrives today with another special video treatment from their models.

As further proof of her extraordinary global impact, in 2010 Minaj became the first female solo artist to have seven singles simultaneously charting on the US Billboard Hot 100, and has sold an impressive 20 million singles as a lead artist and 60 million singles as a featured artist worldwide. Last week, Minaj reached another incredible milestone as she marked her 73rd career Billboard Hot 100 entry – tyingAretha Franklin for the most total appearances among women in the 58-year history of the Hot 100 chart.

The founder of Young Money Entertainment has an impressive twelve studio albums under his belt, selling over 100 million records worldwide to make him one of the best-selling artists of all time – not bad for someone who has only just celebrated his 34th birthday.

Electric Dutch Duo GLOWINTHEDARK Release “Fire Alarm" ft. Alicia Madison

glowinthedark edm

Dutch powerhouse GLOWINTHEDARK is back on Dim Mak with “Fire Alarm (feat. Alicia Madison)”, the first delivery off their forthcoming Stars & Moon EP. Helmed by the frantic synth work and blistering builds that are tantamount to the hard trap style, “Fire Alarm” plays up spunky vocals from Alicia Madison, making it a vibrant club-ready anthem.
GLOWINTHEDARK is an identity that describes the entire creative experience by Albert Harvey and Kevin Ramos, from their luminous sound design to their electrifying live performances. Early on, the Dutch duo’s production chops gained the attention of the legendary David Guetta, who offered his collaboration for the massive Beatport #2 Progressive banger “Ain’t A Party” as well as the #3 Electro mainstay “Clap Your Hands.”

Sustaining the top of the charts, the duo hit another home run when they linked with fellow Dutchman and forefather of the Dirty Dutch sound Chuckie for “NRG,” and proved themselves as in-demand remixers when their edit (together with Wax Motif) of Chuckie & Junxterjack’s “Make Some Noise” landed at #1 on the Beatport Dubstep chart. “Fire Alarm” marks their highly anticipated return to Dim Mak, following the massive Deorro collaboration “Rave Century.” Dancing Astronaut raved about the single, calling it “a thrilling sound that’s begging to be blasted from the nearest speaker.”

With an electrifying sound and an ability to light up any crowd with their contagious energy, GLOWINTHEDARK has become an act to not miss. Since 2013, the duo has held down residencies at Pacha Ibiza and blazed the stages at David Guetta’s annual FMIF parties. This summer GLOWINTHEDARK is poised to spark the world with their new EP, Stars & Moon.
