Chic Fall Looks from ALLSAINTS 2015

Ombre sweaters for him and fur-lined bombers for her - AllSaints have all the edgy looks you want this Fall. AllSaints is modern, chic and stylish and boasts an effortless feel that resonates with the hip, fashion-forward fashionado/fashionista. That's not to say that there aren't some absolutely amazing, head-turning pieces and looks in their Fall 2015 collections for men and women.

I am personally obsessed with the AllSaints Reeve Sheerling Biker Jacket in rust - a total must-have... and pretty much all of their boots! For the ladies, if you must own just one piece, then definitely go for the AllSaints coats. They are very chic and you'll certainly be making a fashion statement. Of course, you won't be able to resist AllSaints, suede skirts and super sexy thigh-high boots.

ETRO F/W 2015 Now at Buckhead Atlanta

No one does pattern like Etro. No one does print, color and texture like Etro. And no one combines them more harmoniously than Etro. [With a mimosa in hand] I was thrilled to preview the Fall 2015 menswear and womenswear collections at Etro's lavish location at Buckhead Atlanta. There is an inherent richness and luxury to the Etro brand that is so prevalent in Fall 2015 which goes beyond the visual, welcoming the tactile. Visually, in both the men's and women's collections, there exists a vibrancy of color and pattern that through closer inspection, by holding the cloth in your hand, offers equal excitement, appreciation and luxury. The detailing is absolutely outstanding. There is a women's coat for example, with 100 pieces of hand-stitched patchwork and took about eighty hours to produce. The hand-painted velvets for men are exquisite. And the snakeskin women's boots are an absolute must-have!

Etro embraced their textile roots with Fall 2015. Their use of interior textiles, tapestries and carpet motifs was brilliant. The combination of these fabrics are strategic and masterful. Yes, there is a lot happening and Etro called it "controlled maximalism." I call it elegant and sophisticated.

The women's collection has a chic 70's vibe to it, but like their menswear, "retro" is always interpreted in a modern way. [Like the men's tweed jogger! I need it.] There are so many showstoppers. Many of the pieces at Etro Buckhead Atlanta are straight off the Milan runway. Etro is for the style-savvy fashionista or fashionado who loves to wear beautiful clothes. And shoes. And accessories.

"We try to bring Paris, Milan, New York..." Jeffrey Kalinsky.

The only thing more epic than celebrating 25 amazing years of Jeffrey Atlanta at Phipps Plaza was the incredible runway fashion at the 23rd Annual Jeffrey Fashion Cares on Monday August 31st. "We try to bring Paris, Milan, New York..." [to Atlanta] said Jeffrey Kalinsky and from the caliber of labels and looks I'd say he did just that! Jeffrey carefully curates the collection to achieve a perfect balance of classic, chic, modern and edgier looks for the runway. There are always plenty of show-stoppers as you'll see in the video.

Relive the fashion and hear what Jeffrey has to say in my video coverage from Monday night's event.

Beyoncé for Vogue's September Issue 2015

Being on the cover of Vogue is something fabulous BUT featured on the cover of the coveted September issue is way beyond that. Beyoncé, wearing a gorgeous Marc Jacobs dress, is only the third black woman in history to grace the September cover. [Naomi Campbell 1989 & Halle Berry 2010.] The cover shot by acclaimed photographer and Vogue favorite, Mario Testino, depicts Beyoncé as both seductive and powerful.

Vogue released this video which gives a creative behind-the-scenes glimpse of Mario Testino and Beyoncé at the shoot.

*Vogue's September Issue hits newsstands on August 25th but you can grab one sooner through Target and Amazon on Aug. 14th!!

Rick Owens Fall 2015 Menswear

Over the years we've seen our share of lady bits on the runway, so why not a little cock-a-doodle-doo? Rick Owens gave us full frontal fashion, literally, with his Fall 2015 menswear collection. He was feeling playful. And that's okay. But it wasn't all peep show. Owens gave us handsome peacoats and cool leather pieces. In the purest form of avant grade (and I love this) the tribal-like robes are actually just a different, unconventional way to wear an outfit.

Moncler Gamme Bleu Fall 2015 Menswear

Moncler Gamme Bleu went all Secretariat on us for Fall 2015. Or was it more like National Velvet? Or maybe it was none of the above?? Designer Thom Browne explained that the inspiration for this collection actually came from a down jacket he found in the Moncler Gamme Bleu archives. And as for the goggles and skullcaps - a last minute creative move. As usual, in grand and dramatic Thom Browne style, theatrics that I never get tired of, there was an abundance of abundance. From pattern to proportion.
