Last Thursday, more than 200 Atlantans descended upon Ponce City Market to celebrate the grand opening of The Frye Company's Atlanta flagship store during a private event hosted by actress Ashley Greene and Vogue Magazine

As guests perused Frye's Fall Collection for men and women, they were treated to a mix of savory and sweet southern bites created by Chef Shane McIntosh of Ocean Catering Co. including homemade mac n’ cheese tartlets, mini “Memphis” pulled pork BBQ sandwiches and red velvet baby cakes with cream cheese icing, brandy pecan cups, and key lime tartlets. Guests also sipped on signature libations from Copper Fox Distillery and enjoyed local craft brews from Wild Heaven Craft Brewery while DJ Pat O’Brien curated the soundtrack of the evening.

Ashley Greene and I chatted for a while. I went up to say hello to her with my friend Anna. We couldn't resist letting Ashley know that she is our favorite vampire in the Twilight Saga Series. Photo: Paras Griffin/The Photoman Life

Ashley Greene, sporting Diana Cut Stud Frye booties and a grey Frye Heidi Fringe Crossbody clutch, mixed and mingled with guests, helped them shop and snapped photos throughout the evening. And I wore: Blazer - Banana Republic; shirt - Hugo Boss; jeans - Helmut Lang; pocket square - Etro AND boots, of course - FRYE!

Not only is the store very inviting and will make you feel comfortable while browsing and shopping, but The Frye Company's collection of covet-worthy men's and women's footwear will WOW you! And let's not even talk about their handbags, leather backpacks and satchels - won't have to - just look at the pics!

The Frye Company may observe current trends, but when you're 152 years old, you're setting them. You'll find a variety of classic and modern styles for everyone - from iconic motorbike influences to western motifs to dressy wingtips and even sandals. They draw their inspiration from the materials and artistry involved in the fine craftsmanship of their goods This is something The Frye Company takes much pride in which is evident in their product and reflective in the brand.

I'm a sucker for great detailing so I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the amazing stitching, branding, buckles, rings, fringe, studs and distressing in all of The Frye Company's leather work. Truly amazing. Extremely appealing. Perfection.

Whether you're a Frye fan or just learning about them, Frye Atlanta is a must-stop for your must-haves!

The Buckhead Atlanta location is Tod’s 9th nationwide boutique. The store reflects the utmost in quintessential Italian elegance. The décor, which is sophisticated, creates an environment of contemporary character which still maintains the solid elements of classic traditional Italian design. This serves as a great reminder of the constant evolution of the company which is continually linked to research and technological progress without ever losing sight of their values, tradition and craftsmanship.

The space is enriched with sumptuous leather sofas, consoles and selected furniture accented with steel details. Additional pieces crafted from steel and marble create a play of light and reflection to highlight the Tod’s Men’s and Women’s Collections. The warm and refined décor perfectly reflects the tones of Italian tradition. President and CEO, Diego Della Valle says: “The idea was to make our clients feel at home. A house built in a classic Italian style with thousands of fine details is always rare to find.”

A special limited edition Swarovski crystal Cape bag was made to commemorate the occasion.  The Cape bag is latest bag to be designed by Creative Director, Alessandra Facchinetti for the Spring 2015 collection.
