GREATS BRAND DROPS TWO NEW WOOSTER X LARDINI STYLES FOR SS17 CAPSULE

When menswear icon Nick Wooster gets involved in designing, you know you're going to get something unique. As an industry leader having held roles at Ralph Lauren, Bergdorf Goodman, and holding a place on the Business of Fashion's “100 Most Influential People in the World,” and Vanity Fair's best dressed list, Nick Wooster is a fashion visionary. As the originator of the "mismatched sneaker" movement, Nick has influenced the market by not having to match a pair, which has been copied by multiple brands but there is only one originator.

For the fifth capsule of the Greats + Wooster + Lardini Spring/Summer 2017 collaboration, Nick selected a mismatched navy and white premium canvas with a smooth leather lining. Along with a second silhouette that is constructed from a durable grey canvas decorated with silver 3M polka dots that subtly reflect the light. Each style sits atop an elevated Margom outsole, adding a bit more height than Greats' traditional Margom sole. Greats + Wooster + Lardini branding can be found on tan calf lining, along with Greats' signature bar tack stitch in neon orange placed on the heel cup. The collection is hand crafted by Greats artisans in the Marche region of Italy.

The Greats + Wooster + Lardini Spring/Summer 2017 collaboration is now available for men and women exclusively on greats.com

the Best Dressed Badassery of Nick Wooster

As my beard gets a little more whiter I find myself asking, "What would Nick wear?"  The answer- anything he wants. Throw him a sheet and he'd rock it like nobody's business. It's not only about style [and impeccable tailoring] but attitude and confidence. So who is Nick Wooster?

From Neimans to JCP to Gilt Groupe, his resume is long and impressive - But it's his sartorial style that I most admire. Just take a peek at some of his Facebook photos... and gentlemen, take notes!
