Continuing their decade-long tradition of Miami Music Week events, Steve Aoki & Dim Mak are headed back to Magic City this year to present another springtime affair. Following three years of all night long Wynwood/ Arts District dance parties, the label is making a triumphant return to the white sands of South Beach for an eleven hour pool party, kicking off at noon. Join us at Dim Mak Miami 2020 on Thursday, March 19th as we take over the Nautilus Pool. Headlined by Aoki himself, the 21+ event will feature some of the label's most exciting current acts, as well as beloved extended friends and family.

This year’s event is set to be extra special, as it is the official Miami stop on Aoki’s North American Neon Future IV: The Color Of Noise Tour, a reference to both his upcoming album as well as his critically acclaimed memoir that was released via St. Martin’s Press last year. Additionally, look out for unexpected surprises throughout the day-into-night event, as Aoki has previously brought several eye popping special guests to his Dim Mak Miami soiree over the years, including the likes of DJ Diesel (aka Shaq), The Chainsmokers, Yellow Claw, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Don Diablo, Kayzo, Slushii, Deorro, Cheat Codes, Rich the Kid, Carnage, Afrojack, Waka Flocka Flame, Dada Life, Lil Jon, Desiigner, Borgore, Getter and Laidback Luke...and this year looks to be no different.

Anevo Releases “Waking Up” Featuring Heather Sommer

anevo

Sweden’s Anevo returns to Dim Mak with “Waking Up,” where Heather Sommer's captivating vocals are mixed with retro synthesizer riffs and powerful kick drums on this uplifting future bass song.

In April, the Monstercat-affiliate made his Dim Mak debut with the stunning single “Can’t Stop,” also featuring Heather Sommer. The track took the dance music world by storm, garnering support from Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, and racked up over half a million views via highly influential YouTube channel Trap City. Continuing his spring momentum, just last month he remixed Dim Mak artist Noise Cans’ track “Caan Dun (feat. Louise Chantál)” and additionally dropped “Waiting On Your Call (feat. Park Avenue)” on Monstercat Uncaged Vol. 1.

Over the past few years, the Swedish producer has had numerous landmark successes, beginning in 2014 when he was named one of Dancing Astronaut’s “25 Artists to Watch.” The following year he was commissioned by Interscope/Polydor to remix Years & Years’ hit single “King,” and his remixes of Selena Gomez’s “Good For You” and Ellie Goulding & Calvin Harris’Outside” both hit #1 on Hype Machine worldwide. Additionally, his reworking of Adele’s “Hello” was heralded by Billboard as a “must-hear remix.” Coming off a monumental 2016 with performances at Ultra Miami, EDC Las Vegas, Life is Beautiful and hit singles “Feel Something (feat. Kayla Diamond)” and “Electric Heart,” Anevo strides into 2017, ready to take his career to new heights.

Croatian Beatsmith Matroda Unveils "Ghetto Funk"

In a fierce blend of bass house and breaks Croatian beatsmith Matroda delivers the sinister "Ghetto Funk," using eerie synth plucks and wicked wobbles to deliver a behemoth of a Dim Mak debut. The single has already seen support from TiestoOliver HeldensDavid Guetta, and more.

Matroda’s well-rounded sound pulls from his classical training across the violin, drums, and keyboard. In 2015, he kicked off his career by partnering with Chris Lake on an official remix of SNBRN’s “California”. It proved to be a stellar debut, quickly reaching the #2 spot on Beatport’s main chart and #1 on the house chart.

Since then, Matroda has steadily become an artist to watch. His 2016 bass-house hit “Chronic,” on Spinnin’ Records, garnered wide A-list support including AviciiDiploLaidback Luke, and RL Grime, who dropped it during his 2016 Coachella set. 2017 is looking to be an even bigger year for Matroda, as he’s coming off a brand new Dustycloud collaboration “Come Back” and an infectious VIP Edit of Migos’ “Bad and Boujee.” The VIP skyrocked to #1 on Soundcloud’s House Chart and Billboard cited it as one of the “5 Best ‘Bad and Boujee’” remixes.

Rain Man and Krysta Youngs' "Habit" Gets Remixed by Morgan Page, EXSSV, and More

Rain Man and Krysta Youngs present The Remixes of their crossover collaboration "Habit." Grammy nominated Morgan Page brings his signature peaktime sound with a euphoric progressive house number (Dancing Astronaut Premiere), while Dim Mak young guns T-Mass and EXSSV each offer fresh future bass makeovers. Akari also goes the melodic route with his breathtaking indie-dance version, before fellow newcomer Impala delivers a wonky downtempo interpretation. Coming in with bass-heavy reworks are LA producer INDO, who offers up a fierce moombah / electro remix, and Dack Janiels & Wenzday, who morph the original into a massive dubstep bomb. DUCKY rounds out the bundle by dialing up the BPM in her hyper nightcore edit.

Habit (The Remixes) builds off December’s Habit (Remixes Part I). Soon after the release of the initial volume, Dim Mak wunderkind T-Mass saw his remix become a hit, garnering support from The Chainsmokers, Steve Aoki, and Borgeous, among others. Contest winner Akari received a similarly impressive influx of support for his soaring indie / electro rendition, including heavy-hitters Don Diablo and Deniz Koyu. Further accolades for the bundle came from Galore, Noiseporn, and YourEDM, who wrote that Dack Janiels & Wenzday’s mammoth remix "makes our hair stand on end and our jaws drop, as it should.”

Rain Man dropped the original “Habit” during a fruitful year for the Chicago native. With his ability to craft hits around powerful female vocals on full display, his preceding single “Bring Back The Summer (feat. OLY)” proved to be one of the biggest electronic tracks of the year. The single was named one of Apple Music’s Best of Tracks of 2016 and recently surpassed 18M streams onSpotify. In addition, Rain Man helped celebrate Dim Mak’s 20th Anniversary with performances in Miami, Chicago, and back-to-back shows at New York’s Electric Zoo and Las Vegas’ Wet Republic.
