Steve Aoki and Lauren Jauregui Release Their Music Video For "All Night" Collaboration

Steve Aoki Lauren Jauregui All Night

On January 8th, Grammy-nominated DJ/Producer Steve Aoki and Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui released the official music video for their hit single "All Night," which premiered exclusively on Buzzfeed.

The video, directed by Mike Harris, entrances the viewer with a flashy vibe tempered by a very personal message of love and wanting. Jauregui breathes life into the club track, elevating its melodies with a vulnerability rarely seen on the dance floor but still maintaining the hook's earworm magic. It also marks Aoki’s return from hip-hop style on his recent Kolony LP to the bright-light, electro-house roots of his forthcoming Neon Future III album.

The ‘All Night’ collaboration announced for the first time last March, binds both Aoki and Jauregui’s strengths in their genres, peaking at #1 iTunes overall in more than 14 countries amongst its November 2017 release and having debuted at #1 iTunes Dance in over 30 countries.

STEVE AOKI is a 2x Grammy-nominated international producer/DJ, electronic dance music entrepreneur, and founder of the trendsetting record label, events/lifestyle company and apparel line Dim Mak. Since launching in 1996, Dim Mak Records has become a launch pad for seminal acts such as The Chainsmokers, Bloc Party, The Bloody Beetroots and The Gossip through deftly marketed single and full-length releases and now has well over 900 releases to date. As a solo artist, AOKI has become a force of nature averaging over 250 tour dates per year. Known for collaborations ranging from Snoop Dogg to Linkin Park to JJ Abrams to Migos and Louis Tomlinson (One Direction), AOKI's debut artist album was nominated for the Best Electronic/Dance album Grammy while his follow ups NEON FUTURE I & II featured his Gold certified single "Delirious (Boneless)" with Kid Ink.  Most recently “Just Hold On” with One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson became a global smash after the pair debuted the song with a performance on X Factor. The song debuted at #1 in 43 countries and has since achieved Gold or Platinum status in 18 countries. AOKI recently received his second Grammy nomination in the Best Music Film category as the subject of the 2016 Netflix Original documentary “I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead” which premiered to a sold out audience at the Tribeca Film Festival. Steve has also both donated and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for various charitable organizations including his own AOKI FOUNDATION with a primary goal of supporting organizations in the brain science and research areas with a specific focus on regenerative medicine and brain preservation. Steve Aoki released his latest album Kolony on July 21 (via Dim Mak Records / Ultra Records) debuted at #1 on the Electronic Album charts. Kolony marks Aoki’s first full turn into rap music, with nearly 10 years of hip-hop collaborations, which he describes as “bridging the gap” between genres and is stacked with hard-hitting rhymes from some of the most prominent lyricists today, including Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, Migos, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, ILOVEMAKONNEN, T Pain, and more.

Lauren Jauregui continues to find her footing as an unstoppable powerhouse talent with an impassioned and inimitable voice that rings out far beyond the stage. From her fan-favorite feature on Ty Dolla $ign’s Beach House 3 track “In Your Phone” to her critically-acclaimed duet with pop songstress Halsey entitled “Strangers,” the singer, songwriter, activist, and member of multi-platinum supergroup Fifth Harmony continues to showcase her incredible vocal versatility.  Lauren officially stepped out with her first collaboration in 2016, teaming up with indie pop duo Marian Hill for the sexy and sultry “Back To Me,” racking up over 20 million streams on Spotify alone and paving the way for future collaborations.  Her recent projects add to an already hugely-successful career with Fifth Harmony, a group that is no stranger to the top of the charts.  The foursome’s third studio album Fifth Harmony was the No. 1 pop and second-best overall selling album in the U.S., debuting at No. 4 on the U.S. Billboard Top 200 chart and peaking at No. 1 on iTunes in more than 50 countries.  Fifth Harmony’s first two albums also arrived in the Top 5 of the Billboard Top 200 chart and reached gold status, while spawning inescapable smashes such as the 5x-platinum “Work From Home,” the triple-platinum “Worth It” and platinum “BO$$,” “Sledgehammer,” and “All In My Head (Flex)”.  Along the way, Lauren has always made the most of her podium, urging change and social consciousness whenever possible.  Following the 2016 election, the singer architected a poignant, and powerful open letter to Donald Trump supporters, touting social justice and bravely and courageously acknowledging her bisexuality for the first time in public. Igniting praise across media and from critics, peers and fans alike, Lauren possesses the power to become a change agent for this generation, and she’s on her way to doing so through music and activism.

Steve Aoki Reworks Oliver Heldens’ Hit Single “What The Funk (feat. Danny Shah)”

what the funk

Oliver Heldens’ funkified hit “What The Funk (feat. Danny Shah)” gets an electro house face lift from Dim Mak label boss Steve Aoki, premiered on Billboard. Upping the ante with festival synths, big room drums and revved up basslines, Aoki takes Heldens’ groove on a neon future workout. The record marks the second project between the two powerhouses, following Heldens’ official remix of Aoki’s Bad Royale collaboration “$4 Million (feat. Ma$e & Big Gigantic).”

After signing with Spinnin' Records in 2013 at just 18, Oliver Heldens has been unstoppable. The Dutch wunderkind catapulted into dance music’s elite after breakthrough single “Gecko” caught the eyes and ears of legendary tastemakers Tiësto and Pete Tong. After revamping the original with the vocals of The Voice U.K. contestant Becky Hill on “Gecko (Overdrive),” the record became platinum-certified, eclipsing U.K. Charts at #1, and has since amassed 171 M+ on-demand streams to date. After premiering his Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1, Pete Tong named the rising star “one of the breakthrough producers of the year,” while Rolling Stone touted him as an artist to watch in 2014. Heldens now globally broadcasts his Heldeep Radio show on BBC Radio 1 and Sirius XM, in addition to residencies at prestigious venues in Las Vegas. A wearer of many hats, the young artist also produces under his darker house persona HI-LO, released under his label Heldeep Records.

Possessing an illustrious catalogue with countless chart-topping hits, award-winning electronic producer, entrepreneur, mogul and DJ Steve Aoki stands as one of contemporary music’s most timeless multi-hyphenates. Finishing off 2017 on a high note, Steve Aoki recently put out “All Night,” his entrancing buzzworthy collaboration with Lauren Jauregui from Fifth Harmony. The single hit #1 on iTunes overall in 14 countries and #1 on the iTunes Dance Charts in 30 countries. A week later, Aoki joined forces with Korean-Pop supergroup BTS on an official remix of “MIC Drop” featuring Desiigner. Taking the world by storm, the rework peaked at #1 iTunes Overall in 44 countries while the remix video is #1 trending on YouTube, quickly surpassing 32M views. “All Night,” "MIC Drop,” and “What The Funk” follow Aoki’s critically acclaimed hip hop album KOLONY, which feature songs with Migos, Gucci Mane, Lil Yachty, 2 Chainz, Lil Uzi Vert and more.
