Dress Like a Celebrity

Don’t have an Oscar or multi-million dollar paycheck?

Don’t sweat it.

No matter what budget you’re on, you can still look like a celebrity. Yes, rocking a red carpet dress and mink eyelashes will make you look super fabulous. But what about feeling super fabulous?

To look like a celeb, it’s all about the confidence. No matter who you are, if you feel good, you look good. Whatever you buy, make sure you love the way you look. This means buying clothes you feel comfortable in, fit well and can strut down the street in with hundreds of paparazzi following you. Now that you’ve got the attitude down, it’s time to go shopping. Here are some key pieces you need to dress like a celebrity:

Sunglasses

When was the last time you saw a celebrity out and about without a pair of the latest shades?

Never.

Sunglasses are a great way to update your wardrobe and can be had on the cheap. The secret is to buy sunglasses that are high quality and look as good as designer names. Try on different shapes and brands. Don’t feel like you can’t go over the top a little either. Like a celebrity,

bigger is always better, and that definitely goes for your sunglasses. If they aren’t covering half your face, you’re doing something wrong.

Handbag

Yep, celebs always have the most in-style handbag and carry them with style. To get a

handbag that won’t break the bank

, go for lesser-known brands that have very discreet logos and look like real leather. Many times, second-hand stores have a wide variety of designer and vintage handbags that look great with a little TLC.

Buy a used bag and show it some love with a leather conditioner.

No matter what style you choose, make sure the bag looks sturdy and has a great form that will hold up no matter where you go. For winter, you can’t go wrong with a cross-body or carry-all tote hanging from your arm.

Shoes

Whether you’re short or tall, heels and wedges always make someone look a little bit more

flashy.

Department stores like Macy’s have

the best shoe sales

, so no matter what your budget is you can find a variety of sizes and styles.

This season, instead of just buying a knee-high boot, find a knee-high boot with a little bit of a wedge and maybe some embellishment like studs.

Adding hardware to a shoe automatically dresses it up and makes a statement.

When you’re looking for heels, don’t shy away from color. You want every part of your outfit to push the limit a little bit and shoes are a great place to start.

Lipstick

No celebrity leaves the house without makeup. If you’re trying to look like one,

neither should you

. Go

bold

with a

bright

red

lip

for winter and don’t be afraid to add some gloss to give it shimmer and shine. Even if you don’t like caking on makeup, wearing bright lipstick is a great way to make people notice you without spending a lot of time getting ready.

One of the best ways to get motivated for working out is by looking great. When you look great, it gives you confidence. That means that you will have more productive workouts when you throw on a sexy outfit. You will perform well when you look good. If you want to look your best at the gym, then take a peek at these sexy workout fashions.

Nike

Nike is the pioneer when it comes to all things exercise. They have been making more workout clothing for more people than any other brand since the early 80s. The company basically grew up with the fitness movement. If you want to look great, then throw on some sexy Nike workout gear the next time you go to the gym. One of the best things about Nike gear is that it is relatively inexpensive and easy to find in stores everywhere.

Under Armour

under armour

There is not brand of fitness clothing that is hotter or more fashionable right now than Under Armour. This tight fitting gear uses the power of compression to pull your muscles tighter, making you both look sexier and perform better during your workouts.

As well as making synthetic exercise clothing that gives warmth, muscle support, and moisture-wicking properties, Under Armour also makes the best T-shirts in the fitness game.

Their cotton workout T-shirt is five times as soft as a standard cotton T-shirt.

Mia Brazilia

The designer and founder of

Mia Brazilia

is Kaneta Harmon, who was an undefeated Muay Thai kick

boxer and workout fanatic. She was unsatisfied with the level of sexiness and cuteness available in the selection of workout clothing she found in stores. She decided to take matters into their own

hands, creating one of the best lines of workout clothing in the world.

If you want a good idea of just how fabulous workout clothing from Mia Brazilia, consider the fact that Harmon’s guiding style icon in designing her clothing is Audrey Hepburn.

This shows you just how stylish these clothes are.

Lululemon

For women who like to do yoga, there are no more stylish yoga clothing makers than

Lululemon

.

They

make very chic running clothing and sports bras as well.

Their exercise clothing is both functional and

fashionable.

You will love the wide variety of unique designs and prints that Lululemon employs in

their styles.

Nina.B.Roze

If you are looking for a very soulful line of fitness clothing, then you should take a look at the designs

from

Nina.B.Roze

.

Their line of workout clothing is inspired by Victorian fashion elegance that is

merged with the form-hugging, functional requirements of movement, dance and yoga.

The clothing

from Nina.B.Roze is very sexy and very unique, and you will be sure to get noticed when you wear it

to the gym or yoga studio.

YOGASMOGA

This line of workout clothing

is not

just

for looking good. They consider their clothing to be part of a way of life that represents balance and harmony.

They make incredible yoga clothing, but their gear is also

great to wear to spinning classes, kick boxing, step class or rock climbing as well.

Don’t settle for baggy sweats and an old T-shirt next time you go to the gym. Wear some sexy workout clothing that will be both fashionable and functional.

You will look great and get a better workout.

Rihanna Rocks Balmain

rihanna balmain

When isn't Rihanna sizzling? Lately, she is known for her supermodel fashion style as much as for her music. And now, Rihanna is the new face of Balmain. The admiration with the French fashion house is mutual between the pop singer and the label's creative director Olivier Rousteing. Please don't stop the music?

Please don't stop the fashion!

Burberry & Vogue Magazine Holiday Party

There are good parties. There are

GOOD parties. AND then, there was last night -

AMAZING!

But of course!

I would expect no less from

BURBERRY

 and

Vogue Magazine

who threw a party and asked one of

Yours truly & Caren West

Atlanta's top publicists [and one of my favorite people]

Caren West, to host. The "party" was actually a shopping event Burberry Lenox Square to benefit the

Recording Academy's Musicares. The spirit of giving has never been so fashionable as it was last night.

AND in fabulous abundance as Caren West can fill a room with a snap and a smile.

Caren wore a Burberry LBD. Sexy, sophisticated and edgy with leather epaulettes - a trademark of the brand's iconic trench.

And notice the red cuff... python!

Look Festive and Stylish this Holiday Season

Photo by ...love Maegan via Flickr

by guest author Mack Hamilton

Holiday party season is nearly upon us. With classic holiday options and new trends to try, it has never been easier to join the festivities in style. To snatch the best deals on the trendiest looks for winter, shop Black Friday. According to the National Retail Federation, a record 247 million shoppers visited popular stores like JC Penney on Thanksgiving weekend to take advantage of sales on clothing, accessories and other goodies. Keep a look out for holiday attire to ring in the New Year.

Fringe continues to be a go-to look after making multiple appearances on the spring 2013 runways. This edgy, boho embellishment has been added to everything from dresses and handbags, to jackets and necklaces. Go daytime casual with a fringe top paired with your most comfortable jeans, and accessorized with an adorned bangle bracelet.

Low Heel

Photo by Bess Georgette via Flickr

Low heels are both comfortable and practical, the perfect everyday footwear solution. Choose a stylish low heel measuring one to two inches. Opt for a sexy sling-back, sleek kitten heels in a brocade finish, or a classic nude pump. Wearing a low heel is also healthier for the body. According to the American Osteopathic Association, extended wearing of high heels can cause the toes to bend in unnatural positions and can even lead to irreversible damage to leg tendons. The AOA recommends flats or shoes with a heel of less than an inch-and-a-half.

Turtlenecks

Don’t overlook this winter staple just yet. The turtleneck look remains practical and warm for chilly weather. To pull off this look, opt for a fine-knit turtleneck and wear it under a jacket. Avoid chunky knits if you’re curvy to ward off unwanted bulk. Wear the turtleneck with a necklace worn over the roll.

Mini Bag

While the new “it” bags may be barely big enough to carry your iPhone, that didn’t stop mini bags from becoming the next big thing. These small and stylish accessories are fun to carry for work, holiday parties, or just around town to carry your essentials. Cross-body bags, clutches and shrunken versions of popular full-size handbags force women to only carry what they really need.

Patent Coat

Photo by ...love Maegan via Flickr

Patent leather is not just for shoes. Glossy patent leather raincoats and knee-length belted jackets are both stylish and figure-flattering. If you decide to go with a patent jacket, opt for a more conservative outfit. Classic-fit jeans look good on almost everyone and work well with classic patent leather jackets. If leather is not your thing, anything with faux fur trim, metallic print or rich jewel tones will also be in-style this winter.

Tartan

Photo by Robert Sheie via Flickr

Tartan, plaid, checkered or whatever you like to call it is back in a big way. This pattern has been seen on a wide range of attire, from cozy jumpers to tailored skirts. Achieve the all-too-cool grunge look with a checkered or plaid shirt layered or tied around the waist. Keep warm with a blanket-like knitted wool or oversized coat in tartan. Even

head-to-toe plaids

have been spotted on runways. Don’t be afraid to experiment with print mixing, such as tartan mixed with leopard print. Enjoy the holidays in festive ensembles that reflect your personal style.
