From skyline-lighting projections to star-studded after-parties, the world’s No. 1 Scotch Whisky brand turns GRAMMY weekend into a full-scale cultural moment.

This weekend in Los Angeles, Johnnie Walker, the world’s number one Scotch Whisky brand (IWSR 2024), is celebrating music’s biggest night in unmistakable style. Inspired by global partner, GRAMMY Award–winning artist and international pop superstar Sabrina Carpenter, the brand is making her signature serve—the Go Go Highball—the drink of the moment.

As the next chapter of the Johnnie Walker x Sabrina Carpenter partnership, first announced in summer 2025, the whisky icon is marking Carpenter’s six GRAMMY nominations with a citywide takeover that lands squarely at the intersection of music, culture, nightlife, and celebration. The weekend unfolds with high-impact moments across Los Angeles—from eye-catching cocktail projections on the skyline to head-turning pre- and post-party experiences in partnership with Universal Music Group’s official GRAMMY weekend events.

The Go Go Highball Takes Center Stage

At the heart of the celebration is the Go Go Highball, Sabrina Carpenter’s signature Johnnie Walker Black Label serve, inspired by a track on her latest album. The cocktail emerged as the centerpiece of the brand’s GRAMMY weekend festivities, cementing its status as a must-sip for the industry’s elite.

To kick off the weekend, Johnnie Walker lit up the Los Angeles skyline with large-scale animated projections before hosting an exclusive, Sabrina-inspired soirée at the legendary Max and Helen’s on Larchmont Boulevard. The beloved LA hotspot was transformed into a cherry-themed fantasyland, layered with floral accents and a playful blend of pop romance, after-hours glamour, and indulgent escapism.

The Official Spirit of GRAMMY Weekend

Throughout the weekend, Johnnie Walker takes center stage as the exclusive spirits partner at some of the most coveted, star-studded GRAMMY pre- and post-celebrations—making the Go Go Highball the signature drink for leading music labels, nominees, and winners alike.

In a whimsical nod to Carpenter’s sparkling aesthetic and the red-carpet energy of the weekend, the brand also unveiled a bespoke crystal-embellished Highball clutch, created as a limited-edition keepsake for friends of the brand.

A New Era for the Johnnie Walker x Sabrina Carpenter Partnership

“This moment is the perfect celebration of our partnership with Sabrina—raising a Go Go Highball to her progress and the incredible milestones she has achieved as an artist, against the backdrop of music’s biggest weekend,” said John Williams, Global Head of Whisky at Diageo. “Working hand-in-hand with the newest voice in the Johnnie Walker story, we’re excited to continue bringing a vibrant energy to the whisky experience.”

Originally launched ahead of Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet Tour in August 2025, the partnership signals a bold evolution for the heritage brand. By aligning with cultural trailblazers like Sabrina Carpenter, Johnnie Walker continues to reshape how, where, and why whisky is enjoyed—from iconic stadiums and music venues to nightlife destinations across Los Angeles and beyond.
