Pride returns to the foothills of North Carolina as Love Is Love: Tryon Pride Festival takes over downtown Tryon on Sunday, June 28, bringing a vibrant day of LGBTQ+ celebration, creativity, visibility, and community connection.
Presented by Mirrorball Gallery + Lounge and Back Alley Boutique & Bud Bar, the 4th Annual Tryon Pride Festival welcomes residents, visitors, families, allies, and members of the LGBTQ+ community for an unforgettable afternoon filled with local makers, live entertainment, dancing, and unapologetic joy.
More than a festival, Love Is Love has become a gathering place celebrating the power of community and the importance of creating spaces where everyone can show up exactly as they are.
Pride Pop-Up Market Celebrates Local Creativity
The celebration begins with the Love Is Love Pride Pop-Up Market, taking place from 12 PM to 4 PM at the Tryon Depot Parking Lot. Free and open to the public, the market brings together local artists, makers, vendors, food trucks, and creatives for an afternoon of shopping, music, and celebration.
Guests can expect live music, fairy hair, glitter, colorful surprises, and a welcoming atmosphere that captures the creative energy of Tryon. The market highlights the region’s thriving arts community while creating an inclusive environment for connection and conversation.
Mirrorball Gallery + Lounge Hosts VIP Pride Party
The celebration continues at Mirrorball Gallery + Lounge with the Love Is Love VIP Drag Show & Dance Party, beginning at 2 PM.
Known for blending contemporary art, design, and immersive experiences, Mirrorball transforms into a Pride destination featuring a high-energy drag performance, cocktails, dancing, and music by DJ Molly Parti.
Returning to the Mirrorball stage, DJ Molly Parti brings her signature electric sound and dance-floor energy, creating the perfect soundtrack for a Pride afternoon filled with celebration and self-expression.
A Celebration of Visibility and Belonging
“Love Is Love is about more than a party,” organizers shared. “It is about creating visibility, support, and belonging for the LGBTQ+ community in Polk County and beyond. We are proud to help create a space where everyone can celebrate freely, safely, and beautifully.”
