Old school meets new school as Steve Aoki partners with Reid Stefan for the massive single “Bring The Funk Back,” off of Aoki’s forthcoming 4OKI EP. Reid’s signature booty-music influence shines through on the wubby underground tune made club-ready by electrifying Aoki synths. Complementing the track is the third installment of the 4OKI video series, directed by LA-based visual artist David "Yarvo" Yarovesky and shot entirely in black & white.

The four-part extended visual stars supermodel Shaun Ross and features appearances from vlogger Malibu Dollface. It is a trek through Los Angeles’ fashionable underground styled by LA tastemaker brand/boutique The Well highlighting their own signature line, as well as wardrobe selections from the Dim Mak Collection and Frenemy. “Bring The Funk Back” follows the first two singles, collaborations with Autoerotique (“ILYSM”) and Shaun Frank(“Dope Girlz.”) The video for “Dope Girlz” was praised by Billboard for challenging gender roles and was premiered by iconic cultural publicationHarper’s Bazaar, who called the work, “mysterious and provocative.”

Steve Aoki unleashes the full 4OKI project next Friday, July 29. The groundbreaking EP is rounded out by the electro house track “Kids,” a dancefloor-filler produced alongside Danish superstar MORTEN that will be released the same day. The accompanying music video is the finale of the series and wraps up both the forward-thinking EP and the thrilling narrative within.

Today, July 15, offerings from STEVE AOKI’s dark, club-oriented opus 4OKI EP continue to surface with his Shaun Frank collab "Dope Girlz." It’s a bass house jam with a low-pitched vocal that beckons with a catchy hook to ‘keep sippin.’ Along with the song comes the second installment of the 4OKI video series.  Making its premiere today via Harper’s Bazaar, the video—directed by LA-based visual artist David "Yarvo" Yarovesky and shot entirely in black & white--stars famed vlogger Bejean Horowitz, aka Malibu Dollface, as “Lucy.” It’s a trek through Los Angeles’ fashionable underground styled by LA tastemaker brand/boutique The Well featuring wardrobe from the Dim Mak Collection and Frenemy in addition to The Well's own signature line.  “Dope Girlz” follows last week’s video debut of “ILYSM” by AOKI & Autoerotique featuring model Shaun Ross.  Look for the next two chapters to be revealed each week leading up to the release of 4OKI.

4OKI—due out July 29—aligns STEVE AOKI with his label Dim Mak's most promising talents, Autoerotique, Shaun Frank, MORTEN and Reid Stefan.
