alvaro the wildlife edm

With help from Gianni Marino, FIGHT CLVB, and The Partysquad, Dutch production guru Alvaro goes gorilla in his blistering 3-track EP The Wildlife, recently premiered on ThisSongSlaps. From the savage 808 madness of "Concrete Jungle" to the spine-chilling tiger growls in "Kingdom," each track hacks through a thicket of menacing tribal-influenced drops as Alvaro smashes the jungle terror mold.

Through singles like “Pay Attention to the Drums” and “Make the Crowd GO,” Alvaro ascended to the forefront of the Dutch house movement in the early ‘teens. During that time, he collaborated with the likes of will.i.am ("With My Hands Up"), Far East Movement ("Show Me Love"), and Lil Jon ("Welcome to the Jungle") before making waves with the 2014 jungle terror anthem “Boomshakatak.” The collaboration with Wiwek proved to be instrumental in the explosion of the genre itself. A year later, he connected with Wiwek once more on the Dim Mak stomper “Fire.” “Fire” was one of the biggest festival tracks of 2015, garnering live show support from The Chainsmokers at Lollapalooza,Benny Benassi at Beyond Wonderland, and Steve Aoki at Dim Mak’s curated stage at Tomorrowland.

Alvaro is also a voracious touring artist and live performer. He has made appearances at the biggest festivals in the world, including Tomorrowland, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, Electric Zoo, and Ultra Music Festival, where he was commissioned to produce the event’s official 2013 anthem “United” alongside Tiesto and Quintino. Steadily inching toward Dutch legend status, he drops The Wildlife EP and is set to galvanize the jungle terror sphere.
