For Spring/Summer 2021 haute couture, the Birds of Paradise of the Lebanese designer Ziad Nakad landed at the Château de Vaux-Le-Vicomte for an exquisite collection full of colors, symbols and of course, glamour. Ziad Nakad's designs are typified by their classy soul, potent femininity, and attention to the tiniest detail. Distinctive cuts come together with a creative mix of materials and colors to bring to life designs that truly reflect women's personalities. Each piece is a celebration of simplicity and sophisticated details.

Fly away from Beirut, bruised by recent events, longing for escape, for dreams, for travel. Ziad Nakad wanted this collection to be sexy but slightly frivolous , in order to regain the carefree life of yesterday. The dresses are majestic, transparent, airy and the ostrich feathers mingle with silk and lace. All pieces are entirely hand-embroidered in the designer's atelier, lockdown has given time for time … the wedding dress required 3 months of work, or 3 months of escape ... depending how you look at it.
