Bartschland brought the fire to NYFW’s RUNWAY 7 at Sony Hall when the first model to walk for the highly anticipated new collection from nightlife impresario and fashion icon, Susanne Bartsch, shot flames from their shoes.

The genderless collection was modeled by a bevvy of familiar faces, including acclaimed drag queen Scarlet Envy, who walked the runway in a custom Bartschland ensemble.

The presentation, entitled Look, featured newsprint jumpsuits, screen-printed mini dresses, logo embellished leotards and bright, bold ensembles that would look perfect on the dancefloor at one of the infamous parties for which Susanne Bartsch is known.

A love letter to nightlife in the 1980s and ‘90s, the Bartschland collection featured modern silhouettes – including a midi pencil dress and sleeveless wrap jumpsuits – made of fabric printed with collages of club flyers and other ephemera from back in the day. For her finale, the nightlife queen made the grandest of runway walks -- sitting atop the shoulders of a bicep-blessed male model.

THIS runway was a PARTY and everyone was invited. The runway collection ended with a thunderous standing ovation.
