A central feature of NYFW: The Shows is "NYFW: The Talks," a series of intimate discussions and panel talks with industry leaders and designers. In this year's event, a talk titled "From Destinations to Design: Travel's Influence on Fashion" will explore the intersection of fashion and travel. Panelists include Dino Michael, senior vice president and global head of Hilton Luxury Brands, as well as Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler. This talk is scheduled for September 10th at 4 p.m. at Spring Studios.

VIP attendees at NYFW 2023 will have the opportunity to visit the Waldorf Astoria branded lounge at Spring Studios throughout the week. The lounge will provide an elevated beverage experience featuring signature cocktails from Peacock Alley, a well-known feature at Waldorf Astoria properties worldwide, along with light canapés. The lounge's design and seating will reflect the refined aesthetic that characterizes the Waldorf Astoria brand.

As a further testament to this collaboration, Proenza Schouler will incorporate the concept of the "Waldorf Astoria woman" into their Spring/Summer 2024 runway show. Additionally, the designers will craft a limited-edition throw blanket exclusively for VIP guests at NYFW: The Shows. This partnership will seamlessly blend high fashion with the luxurious and sophisticated style associated with Waldorf Astoria.

Dino Michael, senior vice president and global head of Hilton Luxury Brands, expressed his excitement about the partnership, expecting it to make a meaningful impact on the convergence of fashion and hospitality. This collaboration serves as a milestone for both Waldorf Astoria and Proenza Schouler, as they combine their expertise to create a unique experience that emphasizes elegance, authenticity, and inclusion.

Kim Fasting Berg, EVP of Marketing at WME Fashion, emphasized the natural alignment between the worlds of travel, hospitality, and fashion, making this partnership a perfect fit for NYFW: The Shows.

Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler shared their enthusiasm for the project, highlighting the merging of their brand's language with the iconic heritage of Waldorf Astoria.

Overall, the collaboration among Waldorf Astoria, IMG, and Proenza Schouler promises an unforgettable NYFW 2023, where luxury, style, and artistry come together to redefine the boundaries of fashion and travel.
