The new Redline SS26 NYFW collection from TRAPSTAR is more than fashion—it is a story of resilience, legacy, and rebirth. Two years in the making, the collection honors Nico, TRAPSTAR’s late friend, designer, and mentor, whose influence helped shape the global identity of the brand.
What began in New York more than a decade ago has been reimagined with inspiration drawn from Samurai culture. Embodying values of honor, integrity, and the anonymity of brotherhood, the Redline collection incorporates visual nods to Samurai tradition, including a striking new evolution of the Shuriken motif integrated into the iconic TRAPSTAR logo.
Every piece in the collection carries a patina and weathered finish, symbolizing wisdom, endurance, and the passage of time. Handmade in Italy, Redline represents the intersection of refined craftsmanship and raw streetwear energy—qualities that Nico brought to the brand throughout his career.
Though he never walked the runway, Nico’s high-fashion sensibility left an indelible mark on TRAPSTAR, elevating its aesthetic and cementing its place in the world of luxury streetwear. The Redline collection stands as both a tribute and a continuation of his legacy—a reminder that true style, like true influence, is timeless.
