First Lady Michelle Obama Covers Vogue Magazine

Our First Lady, Michelle Obama, graced the cover (and pages) of Vogue Magazine in a photo shoot at the White House with Annie Leibovitz. Wearing Atelier Versace, Carolina Herrera and Jimmy Choo, Mrs. Obama spoke about leaving the White House and being a mother. As always, FLOTUS was as elegant and stylish as ever.

Thom Browne MEN Fall 2013

The collision between sartorial interpretation with theatrical showmanship make a

Thom Browne

fashion show unforgettable. [And incredibly entertaining!] His recent menswear show in Paris for Fall 2013 was no exception. References to Amish and

Hasidic

attire compounded with the use of exaggerated square and angular shapes, from head to toe, drove the connotation that organized religion doesn't think outside the box. The forty-seven year old designer always has a message attached to his work and uses the runway as his stage to convey such feelings. This week, Browne had a very different stage, as he dressed First Lady

Michelle Obama

for the Presidential Inauguration. Her coat and dress were fitted and impeccably tailored... it was all about fashion!

Once again, our First Lady,

Michelle Obama

proved her allegiance to American fashion and good style.

The FLOTUS Inauguration Day look was a beautifully tailored coat and dress, by one of my favs,

Thom Browne

. She looked amazing; like a woman who knows what she likes and knows how to dress.

The big surprise came at the big reveal during the first dance with President Obama. [Thanks to the media] everyone was expecting the First Lady to be wearing a new, up & coming designer. Not the case.

She once again turned to

Jason Wu

, but this time, she left the princess, dreamy behind and instead brought on the sex appeal. The ruby red chiffon gown was understated. It was Michelle Obama who made the dress spectacular with her chic and sophistication. Perfect hair, perfect make-up and what about those amazing shoulders and arms! WOW! Gorgeous.

To complete the perfect look, Michelle Obama wore

Jimmy Choo

on her feet and a

Kimberly MacDonald

ring on her finger.
