KOE x Thom Browne Duck-themed Collab

Well, if it looks like a duck, it's Thom Browne for Japanese retailer KOE! This capsule collection is a Thom Browne collaboration wet dream for TB fans as prices range from $59-$256... need I say more!

The stylized duck motif runs throughout Thom Browne's signature pinstripes for him and her. There are wonderful knits, blazers and cardigans to round up the sartorial flock. I especially love the short trouser with the white duck on the side of the leg. The collection goes on sale starting August 9th on KOE's online store. Yep, I may be quacking into Fall!

Raf Simons for Calvin Klein

raf simons calvin klein

Rumors stem from truth and it seems that this week, rumors of Raf Simons taking over as Creative Director at Calvin Klein will be put to rest. It's happening. So, while everyone knew that Raf Simons was replacing Fransisco Costa and Italo Zucchelli, with even Calvin Klein himself confirming it, publicly, the news had to be on the DL due to a non-compete clause within Raf Simons' contract with Dior. The official announcement is expected to be made this week. Raf Simons has already moved to New York City and has met with key CK staff. [Personally] I think this is a brilliant move that will keep an established, deep-rooted brand young, fresh and relevant. Additionally, Raf Simons will bring a European sensibility to the label which will further elevate Calvin Klein - as if that's even possible. [Of course it is!]

Versace Dylan Blue: A fragrance & short film by Bruce Weber starring Gigi Hadid

versace dylan blue

Versace and Bruce Weber exude sex and sensuality. Add super model Gigi Hadid to the mix with a group of hard bodied adonises in suits and underwear and what you get à la Weber, is a sizzling hot fashion film with homoerotic undertones. Versace released the short film to coincide with the launch of their latest men's fragrance, Dylan Blue. The film is narrated in Italian with English subtitles, but frankly speaking, who gives a damn about reading anything when their so much visual stimulation on the screen.

Behind the Scenes at Miami Swim Week with Art Hearts Fashion

Backstage culture, at any fashion show, is typically frantic, intense and let's face it, sexy. Art Hearts Fashion's Miami Swim Week platform certainly embodies the latter. Often times, behind the scenes is a show in itself. Now don't get me wrong, fun and good times aside, hair, make-up, fittings and backstage management keeps things quite busy.

Dior Beauty and FHI Heat kept it going strong, look after look!

Christian Louboutin & Sporty Henri Team Up with Cuba for the Rio Olympics

Christian Louboutin, luxury accessories designer world renowned for his signature red soles, teams up with the French E-concept store SportyHenri.com to support the Cuban National delegation participating in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio as Official Supplier of the Celebratory Outfit. Providing the elegant non-performance outfit to be worn by the athletes at formal occasions, in particular the Closing Ceremony, the designs not only takes visual cues from Cuban heritage but from the athletes themselves. Being a strong source of inspiration and guidance, the Cuban athletes as well as several former athletes had an active part in shaping and choosing the collection.

Joining forces with SportyHenri.com, the recently launched E-concept store for men devoted to sport and style, Louboutin dresses the delegation of over 100 Cuban elite athletes. Henri Tai, founder of Sporty Henri, lent expertise from his former life as a professional athlete whilst the shoe designer has drawn inspiration from sports for decades: "It´s that elegance and fluidity of movement of someone who is so in control of their body that fascinates me. At the Olympics, it feels like these athletes put on performance gear and simultaneously turn into these superheroes that defy gravity, that defy time, that defy all rules of physics. We designed the celebratory outfit for the moment they turn back into humans, still in that glory moment, still in their light but heading back to the real world. We really want them to continue feeling amazing in their skin while looking astonishing."

Through custom fittings with the Olympic athletes, and consultation with former Olympians, a look was created which expresses unique Cuban chic and sense of style on an athletic silhouette while not compromising the ease, comfort and fit they seek as the eyes of the world rest upon them. Henri Tai, former French handball player explains, "The clothes need to fit spectacular athlete bodies – they are definitely not sample size or average, neither in length of limbs, nor in proportions. It was our mission to make them look tailor-fitted and great."

The outfits the athletes sport include the high-top trainer and the loafer style Naza Star for men, both snug fits in calf leather making for the light tread of gymnast Manrique Larduet Bicet as well as adding elegance to the remarkable size 51.5 foot of wrestler Mijaín López Núñez. The kitten heel sandal for female athletes, Naza Sandal adds a touch of glamour and a spring to their steps while not forgetting that these ladies' stage is the track, the pitch, the ring.

The elegant clothing concept was brought to life within a Parisian atelier creating sharply tailored jackets, in red for men and beige for women, which are equally suited to adorning the shoulders of delicate judoka Dayaris Mestre Alvarezor and the biceps of Judo star Alex Garcia Mendoza. The athletes' jackets contrast with interchangeable trouser and shorts with a skirt option for women and proudly carry the nation's flag on the wearer's breast pocket, whilst the five- pointed star is used as emblem of luck displayed upon the back of each athlete's jacket.

KENZO: H&M Vogue Collaboration

kenzo hm vogue

It's always exciting when retail giant H&M collaborates with designer labels and this one with Kenzo is no exception. H&M and Vogue released a sneak peek of whats to come later this fall. Looks like lots of pattern, texture and color. My only concern is that you know that all the wrong girls are going to be buying that catsuit - sights we may possibly never unsee.
