Casual. Fun. Polished. OOTD

Relaxed and comfortable can still be stylish. [And should be!] If your mind goes to t-shirts, shorts & flip-flops, then you better take note! While my outfit had a tailored fit, nothing felt tight or restraining. And most importantly, I felt good!

Blazer:

Tommy Hilfiger.

LOEWE MEN 2015

I must admit that this collection offered greater appeal when I thought the model on the left was female. I thought, how genius to produce a totally unisex collection. Well, I guess in a way it still is. Jonathan Anderson for Loewe subtly rebranded the fashion label through his use of linens, silks and leathers. I love the striped knits with matching scarves, adore the suede trench coats and lusting over the bags. But what I probably love most is  the overall styling and art direction of the images. Gorgeous.

Jonathan Saunders MEN/Resort

I've often wondered how designers conceptualized, create and produce so many collections in a single year. For Jonathan Saunders, he combined them. Clever. [Women's] Resort and Menswear, Spring 2015 were designed simultaneously and presented together. These collections had two of my very favorite things going for it: stripes and the color yellow! And then there was, as always, how "clean" everything is and how very chic. A little bit of structure, pops of color and a whole lot of great wearable design. View Collection:

Lupita Nyong'o Covers Vogue, July 2014

Photography by Mikael Jansson

She's an Oscar winner, Red Carpet favorite and now you can add a Vogue Magazine cover to the it girl's repertoire. Lupita Nyong'o is having quite the year - quite the life. I just love her and I love her exotic photo shoot for Vogue. Hamish Bowles, caught up with Lupita who had plenty to say about her acting career, childhood and fashion. Enjoy the amazing images and the visit Vogue to read the interview!

the Best Dressed Badassery of Nick Wooster

As my beard gets a little more whiter I find myself asking, "What would Nick wear?"  The answer- anything he wants. Throw him a sheet and he'd rock it like nobody's business. It's not only about style [and impeccable tailoring] but attitude and confidence. So who is Nick Wooster?

From Neimans to JCP to Gilt Groupe, his resume is long and impressive - But it's his sartorial style that I most admire. Just take a peek at some of his Facebook photos... and gentlemen, take notes!

What-A-Man... truth is ... if I published every sartorially inspiring photo of Nick Wooster, this post would go on and on and on. And on.

Introducing Designer Craig Green Menswear Spring 2015

I admire Tim Blanks very much, fashion correspondent for Style.com, but his review of "breakout" designer Craig Green's London debut show has left me scratching my head, just a little. Tim called it a "fashion moment." Something so rare it's almost an "urban myth." Well, I don't see it. So either the photos don't convey the emotion the audience experienced or this was a you had to be there moment or Tim Blanks has finally drank the kool aid. Don't misunderstand me, I enjoyed the collection. I liked the fluidity of the garments. It's modernity and simplicity is similar to Japanese design. I hated the body-con jersey tops  - ninety's hooker - but I loved the Samurai pants. Again, I suppose I, "we" just needed to be in the audience to "feel" the show like Tim Blanks did. Would I have loved that - you betcha!

Public School Resort 2015

School may be out for summer but at Public School, session for Resort 2015 is in full swing and all the cool kids have registered. The recent CFDA winners in Menswear are rocking it in Womenswear with the similar approach in modernity, sensibilities and street-chic that put them on the map in the first place. The Public School girl loves fashion, good design and clean lines but doesn't care for fuss or frills. This collection is so fresh and while it seemingly embraces "comfort" it has not comprised style in any way. View Collection:
