Art Hearts Fashion Miami Swim Week - Day 2

On Saturday July 16th Art Hearts Fashion continued its series of presentations during Miami Swim Week at W Hotel South Beach's Lycra Swim Salon presented by Planet Fashion TV. Designers included Koco Blaq, Bella Mar Swimwear, Mister Triple X "Wild Things" and Yas Couture by Elie Madi. Offiicial Eyewear sponsor L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani provided the finishing touches for both Koco Blaq and Mister Triple X. 

The next edition of Art Hearts Fashion will take place at New York Fashion Week September 12th-15th at the Angel Orensanz Event Space and on October 8-13th in Los Angeles.

The runway shows presented by AIDS Healthcare Foundation help raise awareness for HIV/AIDS and this seasons shows are dedicated to their #KeepThePromise campaign which highlights AHF's mission to provide access to treatment to the millions living with HIV.

PUMA LAUNCHES NEW ULTRAMODERN BMW X-CAT DISC

PUMA has released the latest edition to its DISC footwear franchise, the futuristic looking metallic silver BMW X-CAT DISC. Designworks, a BMW Group subsidiary, looked to PUMA to develop the special fabric applied over the metal chassis. Through this collaboration, Designworks led the design process for the ultramodern PUMA X-Cat concept shoe inspired from the revolutionary concept car with a seamless material outer shell. 

This striking shoe showcases PUMA’s reinvented DISC technology, which provides ultimate comfort and a snug fit. Originally launched in 1991, the system worked as the disc rotated, pulling internal wires that tightened the upper for a comfortable fit. The new DISC system is lighter and smaller with only five parts. It’s quicker to turn and the smooth internal wire system that wraps and secures the upper is faster to tighten.  

The outer of the shoe features a silver stretch fabric, resembling the metallic material used on the car and modified for footwear use. As the shoe opens and closes the form of the shoe transforms, as does the car. The shoe’s silver material sits over the DISC closure system and when tightened the wires are revealed under the material. Finishing touches included a laser cut upper across the front of the shoe, inspired by gill like texture that appears on the car when its doors open. PUMA’s iconic formstripe runs on the outer of each shoe in a reflective print and BMW’s logo features on the DISC.

Art Hearts Fashion Miami Swim Week - Day 1

MISTER TRIPLE X

On Thursday July 14th Art Hearts Fashion kicked of swim week with amazing talent for a great cause at the FUNKSHION tent. The highly anticipated runway shows featured collections of both nationally and internationally acclaimed designers. The 7pm presentation opened with Just Bones Boardwear featuring their "Ocean' Collection with the brands signature boardshorts and sexy bikinis, followed by the debut of Du Aqua Swimwear by Veronica Valle a luxury resort collection. The evening heated up with a fiery presentation by Cirone Swim. California favorite, celebrity designer Courtney Allegra showcased her fun and flirty bikini's at the finale of the 7pm presentation.

The 9pm showcase opened with a Havana themed runway show by international resort brand Hale Bob, followed by a sexy men's resort/swim collection by Argyle Grant. Celebrity designer Mister Triple X spiced things up with "BANDITS" a sexy swim and resort presentation highlighted by the brands signature edge and cool shades by Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. sunglasses and shoes by Alejnadra G. The grand finale was held by none other than couture designer Rocky Gathercole showcasing his latest bikini and resort couture creations.

Following the runway shows, over 2000 swimweek guests joined the gang of Art Hearts Fashion at their Gala and swimweek party hosted by world famous LIV Nightclub.  The event presented by Just Dance featured fashion shows by Hale Bob, Mister Triple X, Just Bones Boardwear, Courntey Allegra and Cirone Swim during a performance by DJ Shaun Frank.
