Autoerotique Releases "Slew Dem" Off Forthcoming "Darker Things" EP

Autoerotique continues to slay dancefloors worldwide with "Slew Dem," a ruthless bass house tune complete with Auto’s signature pitched down vocals and crisp percussion patterns. The track is the second single from his forthcoming free EP Darker Things out on Dim Mak November 18th.

Heading into fall full speed ahead, the Toronto native is coming off one of the most productive summers of his career. He began by making his debut on Calvin Harris’ Fly Eye imprint with the Hunter Siegel collaboration “OTF,” which peaked at #6 on Beatport’s Electro House charts. Autoerotique then teamed up with Steve Aoki for “ILYSM,” a milestone future house collaboration that appeared on the Dim Mak founder’s celebrated 4OKI EP and recently eclipsed 10M Spotify streams. The track garnered a litany of support from industry-leading producers, including The Chainsmokers, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Sander van Doorn, and Tritonal, among many others. Autoerotique also recently joined Aoki to perform the track live on MTV’s brand new Wonderland series, sharing the stage with Blink-182, Lil Jon, iLoveMakonnen, Rich The Kid, and more.

As a leading figure in the bass house genre, Autoerotique continues to move the needle forward with each release. “Slew Dem” will only strengthen his status as the Juno Award-nominated producer prepares his highly anticipated Darker Things EP. Fans can celebrate the release on November 19th at Bolsa Chica State Beach, where Autoerotique is set to take over the decks for a special Dim Mak 20th Anniversary show in SoCal [RSVP here].

Autoerotique Unveils “Run For Cover” Off Forthcoming "Darker Things" EP

Implementing a relentless low frequency breakdown, Toronto’s Autoerotique drops the menacing rave-ready bass house track “Run For Cover” in perhaps his most daring musical offering yet. Flaunting his signature grimy sound, the single, which is out now for free download, is the first to be released from his forthcoming Darker Things EP.

Autoerotique kicked off the year with a Beatport chart-topping EP Kids Don’t Care. The 3-track project spawned the hit single “AUH,” which ThisSongIsSickpraised as a “dirty dance-floor hit.” Heading into April, he teamed up with dancehall supergroup Major Lazer on “The Sound,” a massive single that gained support from industry leaders Skrillex, Dillon Francis, Martin Garrix, Zeds Dead, and Calvin Harris, who dropped it live at Coachella. Autoerotique closed out the summer by teaming up with Steve Aoki for “ILYSM,” a collaboration that was featured on Aoki’s momentous 4OKI EP. He also recently made an appearance on MTV’s brand new Wonderland series, joining Aoki on stage to perform the track live (Watch here). In addition, the official “ILYSM” music video was initially premiered on MTV and the single has been streamed over 9.6M times on Spotify.

With recent performances at Red Rocks, HARD Summer in LA, an Australian mini-tour, and Dim Mak’s 20th Anniversary celebration in Scottsdale, Autoerotique is showing no signs of slowing down. As a leading tastemaker in the bass house genre, he continues to push the electronic envelope with each unique offering.
