New York Men's Day Returns to Kick Off New York Fashion Week with Spring/Summer 2027 Emerging Designer Showcase
/One of New York Fashion Week's most anticipated platforms for emerging talent is back.
Celebrating its 26th season, New York Men's Day (NYMD) returns on Thursday, September 10, 2026, once again launching New York Fashion Week with an influential showcase spotlighting the future of menswear and genderless fashion. Produced by Agentry PR and presented for the third consecutive season by PROJECT and COTERIE by Informa, the biannual collective continues its mission of championing the industry's next generation of designers.
Held inside the striking Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan flagship showroom in Hell's Kitchen, NYMD will feature eight emerging brands across two presentation sessions, creating one of the week's most efficient destinations for editors, buyers, stylists, influencers, and fashion insiders.
PROJECT and COTERIE Strengthen Their Commitment to Emerging Designers
Returning as presenting sponsor, PROJECT and COTERIE deepen their partnership with New York Men's Day as COTERIE New York takes place simultaneously at the Javits Center from September 9–11, 2026. The collaboration further connects the men's and women's contemporary fashion markets under the FASHION by Informa portfolio.
For the afternoon session, PROJECT and COTERIE will host a dedicated hospitality lounge, creating an inviting networking hub where buyers, editors, and creatives can discover emerging talent while building industry connections.
"With COTERIE and New York Men's Day happening at the same time, we're proud to bring our communities even closer together," said Brian Bartiss, Vice President of Sales for FASHION by Informa. "PROJECT and COTERIE has always been about discovery, connectivity, and elevating the most compelling voices in fashion. Supporting designers through this platform is essential to nurturing the next wave of global talent."
Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan Continues as Host Venue
For the third consecutive season, New York Men's Day will transform the expansive Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan showroom into an immersive fashion destination.
The 330,000-square-foot flagship dealership offers a dramatic architectural backdrop where automotive innovation meets cutting-edge fashion. As Mercedes-Benz celebrates both the 140th anniversary of the automobile and the centennial of the Mercedes-Benz name, the partnership underscores the brand's continued investment in creativity, culture, and design.
General Manager Manuel Terrones emphasized the importance of supporting emerging fashion talent, noting that the collaboration reflects Mercedes-Benz's ongoing commitment to shaping future creative experiences in New York City.
A Proven Format for Fashion Discovery
Since its founding, New York Men's Day has become one of the industry's premier launchpads for emerging designers.
Its signature presentation format allows each participating label to create an individual branded environment within the venue while presenting simultaneously. Rather than traditional runway shows, attendees move freely throughout the space, engaging directly with designers, examining collections up close, and discovering new talent at their own pace.
The format has made NYMD an essential stop on the New York Fashion Week calendar for fashion editors, retail buyers, celebrity stylists, influencers, and VIP guests seeking tomorrow's breakout labels.
