Andrew Kwon debuted his eponymous RTW eveningwear collection for the SS23 season on September 12. While he has presented on the bridal calendar in the past, this is the brand’s first presentation during NYFW. The collection was presented with a mixture of live models and mannequins at the Baccarat Hotel.

From evening wear to menswear to the avant garde, The Face Magazine set Charlotte on fashion fire recently at their Issue 5 Release fashion show. The runway was ablaze with looks from talented emerging artists as well as established brands like Dillards and Hampton's Men's Clothier. Designers Joseph McCrae and Elias Gurrula proved they are NYFW ready with their collections and featured designer Rinat Brodach showed us how it's "done" in New York. 3BlackBird Management models rocked the runway, giving us the modern, chic and edgy woman set forth by the designers. I was thrilled to emcee the show which took place at Le Meridien Charlotte and interact with stylish guests.
Oscar de la Renta, Jeffrey Atlanta As I walked through Phipps Plaza yesterday, working my way to Jeffrey, I spotted a tall, young, beautiful glamazon in short shorts, hair pulled back and holding very high heels in hand. But, that walk ... I can spot a runway model a mile away, or in this case 100ft. Then I see another. And another. They were leaving the exact place I was going to. I thought to myself, "whoa, if these are the models being cast for Jeffrey Fashion Cares, it's going to be one hell of a show!"
Jeffrey Atlanta GM, Don Purcell, Jeffrey Buyer, Philip Manghisi and Randi Layne of Catwalk Productions ran a tight ship. I've never been to a more organized [and civilized] model casting in Atlanta. Like ever! Models arrived in shifts, signed in, met the "panel" and walked for them.
Models were asked to walk with a smile - something you rarely see on runways!
