Jennifer Lawrence in new Be Dior Ad Campaign

This is what a rich girl looks like. Chic, modern and while she knows fashion and invests in it, her style is always effortless. Kudos to the stylist.

Photographer Paolo Roversi shot the Dior campaign featuring the Oscar winning Jennifer Lawrence in a variety of flawless day looks and carrying the fabulous leather Be Dior bag. The styling, hair, makeup and minimal set work perfectly together. Everything feels so fresh. I love it.

Great timing in rolling out the ad campaign as well since Jennifer Lawrence was missed at the Academy Awards.

The 2015 BRIT Awards Red Carpet Fashion

While social media is busy trending over Madonna's backward fall at the 2015 BRIT Awards, I thought we could glance at the red carpet fashion instead. Madonna's fine btw. She called to tell me. Not really, just saw it on Facebook.

Alright, back to the red carpet. Fashion at the BRIT Awards is always fun because everyone's just really cool. You'll see a variety of looks from outrageous to couture. Rita Ora will show up in Zuhair Murad couture while Orlando Bloom is in a denim shirt by Dior Homme. You'll also see more of a willingness to take fashion risks like FKA Twigs as an Amazonian Couture Goddess in Alexander McQueen - loved it! Of course not everything worked, Charlie XCX... dear... awful in Vivienne Westwood. Mainly because of the fit. If you wanna show your tits, show 'em. Otherwise, make sure the outfit fits!!!

Cannes turns up the glamour even higher this May with the Cannes Fashion Festival

It's difficult to imagine that things could get even more glamorous at Cannes in May during the annual Cannes Film Festival, but it's true. It's happening. The Cannes Fashion Festival, May 20-22 will run alongside the famous film festival and attract an international audience of trendsetters, jet-setters and fashion lovers.

There's already an abundance of fabulous fashion at the Cannes Film Festival - peruse through my photo gallery. Every A-list celeb at Cannes treats the world to a fashion show by wearing the leading labels on and off the red carpet. So really, it only makes sense that a festival dedicated to fashion would occur.

While the Cannes Fashion Festival is completely separate from the film festival, it will be happening at the same time. It's brilliant. The energy and enthusiasm is already established and empowered with the most famous names in the industry. Cannes Fashion Festival will be hosted at the luxurious Hotel Majestic Barrière, which happens to be at the heart of the action, and will feature a series of fashion runway shows from menswear to womenswear to accessories and swim. The Cannes Fashion Festival is truly "celebrating" fashion on an international platform and will be streaming live for everyone to experience the stylish three-day festivities.

I am beyond excited and honored to have been accredited as an Official Blogger of the Cannes Fashion Festival being selected from over 500 bloggers.

May is going to be EPIC.

TOPSHOP UNIQUE at London Fashion Week - Autumn/Winter 2015

On Sunday 22nd February Tate Britain hosted Topshop's Autumn Winter 2015 collection. Attendees included Cara Delevingne, Ellie Goulding, Kendall Jenner, Alexa Chung, Yasmin Le Bon, Emmelia Fox and Erin O'Connor.  Highlights video also includes Topshop owner Sir Philip Green.

The Topshop A/W15 collection featured all that the British brand represents: edgy, modern  apparel, hot off the runway. The Topshop girl is chic and confident. A strong woman who can rock lace, florals and leather all at the same time. I recall the first time I walked into a Topshop. It was in New York and I thought to myself, we need this in Atlanta. Not long after, Nordstrom began carrying the brand, including its male counterpart (whom I love!) Topman. Well, it gets even better fashion lovers, because Topshop is coming to Lenox Square Mall this year. You will always be "on trend" at Topshop and really, with Topshop's team of young designers, you'll actually be ahead of the trends.

Oscar Winner Patricia Arquette Announces Scientific Breakthrough: Unveils World’s Largest Lab-Cultivated Pure Grown Diamond

Academy Award Best Supporting Actress Winner Patricia Arquette unveiled a global scientific breakthrough just before the annual Oscar ceremonies -- the first-ever, world's largest lab-cultivated Pure Grown Diamond, which is indistinguishable from an earth-mined diamond, even under a microscope, yet costs 30 to 40 per cent less, according to the International Gemological Institute.

The Federal Trade Commission confirms that these diamonds have the same chemical, physical and visual properties as earth-mined diamonds.

“This is a true 21st Century technological achievement that is the eco-friendly and conflict-free solution in diamond mining,” says Arquette, who emphasized the extensive environmental damage caused by mining and the history of human rights violations associated with so-called ‘blood diamonds.’

She continues, “There is no blood involved with this diamond, which is why it is beautiful in its own-right, but it is especially beautiful because no children died for this diamond; there were no slave wages paid to people for this diamond; there was an actual working wage paid to create this diamond and that’s about love."

Joining Arquette for the unveiling were Grammy winner Natasha Bedingfield, NBC "Aprentice" star Kevin Jonas, "90210" cast member AnnaLynne McCord and other celebrities attending Hollywood's annual Pre-Oscar Chairty Soiree.

The Oscars Red Carpet 2015

The 2015 Academy Awards red carpet brought all the glitz and glamour that we love. Everyone was so polished, dapper, pretty and chic. I didn't like everything but hated nothing! I loved Reese Witherspoon's Tom Ford dress but didn't care for the hair. Lady Gaga was a stunner in Alaia but the gloves made me thing of "Rock Lobster" for some reason. Lupita dripped in pearls, gorgeous. Julianne Moore came dressed to win. Felicity Jones wore Alexander McQueen and while I absolutely adored the pearl-embellished bodice, I felt there was too much dress happening. Marion Cotillard was so chic and so very French. Scarlett Johansson rocked an edgy hairstyle but I'm not feeling the statement necklace. On the other hand, Cate Blanchett's Tiffany & Co. statement necklace paired with the simplicity of the Margiela gown was a winner. Ponytails ruled the red carpet as well. Dakota Johnson's was youthful as it should be and Jennifer Lopez's was classy and refined. Most of the men looked fantastic too. I'm glad that they are finally being asked who they are wearing - hey it matters! Eddie Redmayne, Common and Neil Patrick Harris (and his one thousand changes) scored and A+ However, David Oyelowo should have not been so matchy-matchy with the red on red on red. This was the Oscars, not high-school prom. Jared Leto is no longer hot. Shave the gross beard! And poor little Kevin Hart, super funny and talented but tacky as fuck. Now, what about Viola Davis! She was so beautiful! I just loved her with the dark lip, natural hair and in Zac Posen.

Well there you have it. Overall, it was a super fantastic Oscar red carpet and a very engaging Academy Awards show from fashion statements to political ones. Make sure and check out the photo gallery and tell me who your faves were!

Emerging Designer Esé Azénabor Makes NYFW Debut

The Fall/Winter 2015 Esé Azénabor collection is an unapologetic artistic demonstration of luxury, culture and appreciation for the arts. The collection is inspired by the kingship of Henry VIII, and the affluent monarchs of that era, featuring embroidered Jacquard, rich dark tones and brocade fabrications. “The first time I saw the painting of Henry VIII, I was attracted to the gorgeous details of his garments,” says Azénabor. “We thought to create a collection inspired by his era in a modernized women's luxury ready-to-wear and couture collection.”
