Now this is a chart I can read! Wow, excellent. Thanks Cosmopolitan UK...This fabulous  infographic by mediarundigital.co.u shows every dress worn by the winning Oscar best actress since 1929. The two things I learned from looking at it: 1.) Designer gowns didn't get popular until the 90's; 2.) there have been some really ugly dresses worn. 1978 -1984 will give me fashion nightmares.

The Academy Awards are Sunday. Bring on the red carpet!

The CFDA's Fashion Fund Finale Preview

And the Emmy for BEST in the "leave them wanting more" category goes to Ovation's The Fashion Fund. OMFG! The finale is tonight, tell me it isn't so! [I know] I speak for many fashion lovers and Wintour worshipers when I yell that we just can't get enough of The Fashion Fund!!!

 So hurry and tape another season. In the meantime, tune in tonight at 10PM on Ovation.

In the two+ decades that I have been following Karl Lagerfeld's prolific career, I never thought I'd be using the word cute in the same sentence as the creative genius, even less, to describe him! Last week everything changed when model Cara Develvingne marched onto the Fendi runway in Milan wearing a fierce fur hood and holding a super-fabulous furry Karl.

Huh? What?!

Yup, look at the pics. We're not entirely sure what to do with the mini-me Karl accessory but hey, high fashion isn't always practical. I want one!

Who we wore: Demi Styles was cute and sassy in a vintage plaid blazer, American Apparel ribbed riding pants and blazin' red heels by Zara. I wore a chunky shawl collar sweater from Gap, a western/denim shirt by Ralph Lauren, Thom Browne pants and brown suede Calvin Klein boots....

Just say YES to Statement Necklaces

Moms always taught us "Less is More"... but I think that only applies to what we currently have on our bodies, NOT what we have in our closets!  No woman can have too much jewelry, and in this case too many statement necklaces to choose from! Nordstrom has an amazing collection to select from this season, my personal favorite, the Cara line!
