For nearly three thousand years, one may not separate wine as an integral part of French civilization ingrained in French culture at every level.  As art, creativity, and genius are woven into the fabric of what is France, naturally, the French made winemaking an art.  From this natural flow of thought came PATUNA's inspiration for the French art of winemaking and was inspired to express this muse through the colors of grapes, wine, and the shapes of the grapevine.  

The French vineyard is a place of serenity and history; serenity from nature; history from fact.  Just as one can't look at a picture of the Eiffel Tower and not think ‘France’! One may also not look at a vineyard anywhere in the world and not think, ‘France’!  One may not be separated from the other in the psychic of man.  Through a French vineyard well-manicured fields, one may see a variety of textures and a beautiful palette of colors such as red, purple, white, and green.

For PATUNA, touching the textile is like touching a grape or a grape-leaf. The grape is strong in texture, beautiful in color and soft in feel.  French wine is volume, prestige, and variety style through the variety of grapes.  Volume, prestige, quality and variety are four inherent ingredients of my couture.  The vineyard’s beauty in uniformity and structure; strength, natural character, and flow of her vines; deepness of her roots; softness and color of her grapes cast against a blue sky inspire me.  

As the grapevine’s natural character and flow are uninhibited, PATUNA does not use zippers or buttons as they can easily inhibit the natural character and flow of fabric. Just as the grapevine of a French vineyard flows naturally and with volume through the field, PATUNA's creations flow uninhibitedly with volume and style to fit naturally so as not to detract from the fabric’s natural architecture. The grapevine does not infringe upon the beauty of the grape but compliments that beauty.  

This collection consists primarily of silks , guipure, velvet & chiffons , and incorporates shapes and looks that are smooth like a grape leaf; strong and structured like the grapevine; and incorporates touches of complex draping like the ripening grapes on the vine. This collection also incorporates arch forms from the vine with lines imitating the long, straight rows of the vineyards. All paintings and volume accessories , such as grape-leaves are hand-made.

This season Porsche Design Sport by adidas will hero reflectivity with an advanced technology and fabric, which glows when hit by light. This stand-out Glacier Camou pattern, in addition to strategically placed reflective details, is integral to the aspirational Running collections and also features in key Gym products, injecting superior functionality and style. 

The Gym line-up is designed for training in the gym as well as outdoors, made possible through highly adaptable signature pieces. The look presents a combination of functional pieces including the Run Tee, Sweat Pant and Winter Beanie through to more specialist and exclusive components including a soft Knit Jumper and Insulation Print Vest. The latter showcases an exclusive wind and water-resistant exterior constructed from an innovative heat-generating COREBRID™ B fabric and is designed in vivid Glacier Camou print. The Running collection features efficient, high-visibility materials so that dark, cold nights do not interfere with outdoor running. The Reflective Run Vest, available in two colourways, comprises a wool fleece lining, water-repellent quilted overlay and bright, reflective graphics for superior visibility at night. Completing this sophisticated running story and designed with runners in mind, the Trackstar Pant is accented at the lower leg with the season’s signature reflective graphic, ideal for full-body visibility.

Concluding the season’s Gym and Running looks are stylish and practical footwear and accessories. For the gym, the EC Running shoe allows for all-day comfort across multiple climates and terrains thanks to an abrasion-resistant Tubular rubber outsole and EVA midsole. Available in two colourways - stand-out black/orange, and cargo/grey - the textile upper features the rich Glacier Camou motif on the mudguard and 3-Stripes; an injection of style and utility. The BS Teambag is an impeccably designed luggage essential, boasting a water resistant outer and multiple compartments of varying sizes in the interior - the perfect companion for the style-focused gym-goer.

In Running, the Endurance shoe combines sophisticated design with energy returning BOOST™ technology. With a premium Continental™ Rubber outsole for enhanced traction and reflective Glacier Camou pattern underlays in the mesh upper, these key design details act as stylish solutions to variable weather. Still in footwear, Porsche Design Sport by adidas introduce a more futuristic and technical look to one of their most iconic footwear lines.
