Kate Spade New York blooms at NYFW
/ E. Vincent MartinezThis season, Kate Spade New York partnered with iconic floral brand FTD to bring 30,000 fresh flowers to New York Fashion Week. Flowers from FTD in hues of blue, coral, yellow and more lined Kate Spade New York’s Spring 2016 fashion presentation, which featured looks inspired by NYC’s bright, colorful flower bodegas. "After a harsh winter, when that first day of spring breaks, how relieved we all are to buy our first flowers at the bodega,” said Kate Spade New York. Floral patterns and motifs made their way onto dresses, skirts, jumpsuits and accessories. Smart, sassy and pretty.
The flowers were a focal point of the presentation and guests in attendance received a handmade bouquet of FTD blooms, arranged on the spot at a custom flower bar. After the presentation, FTD and Kate Spade New York hit the NYC streets in a branded truck to hand out fresh bouquets around the city. (Photos: Jason DeCrow/Invision for FTD/AP Images.)
