VIDEO Highlights: DOGGIES ON THE CATWALK 2015

The 8th Annual Doggies on the Catwalk was the bark of the town! It was truly a magical evening at the most beautiful and desirable property in the city: Buckhead Atlanta. The evening was filled with fashion from upscale brands: Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet, Bella Bag, Bonobos, Brunello Cucinelli, Christian Louboutin, Helmut Lang, Jimmy Choo and Theory! BUT, as usual, it's the 'doggies' who steal the show. From the looks of it, many have been shown an interest in adoption!!! CONNected with Conn Jackson & Doggies on the Catwalk!

Earlier this week, Conn Jackson, pictured above with Theory Bulkhead GM Kelly Miller, came into the showroom for his fitting for the 8th Annual Doggies on the Catwalk. If you know Conn, then you won;t be surprised that we had a blast! He wore two hats that day, one of a model and the other as the host and producer of his on TV show Get Connected with Conn Jackson; CONN TV. Lucky for us, my last fitting of the day was the one and only Monica Pearson and the super clever Conn Jackson jumped on the opportunity for a quick promo video for Doggies on the Catwalk. I love it!!! Conn will be producing a segment about the show but sooner than that, you can see him strut a pup on the 'Catwalk' Saturday night at Buckhead Atlanta. *Secure your tickets because this event is almost sold out.

From stunners out of Alice & Olivia to sexy-chic leather from Theory, I can promise that you're in for a show Saturday night! Spending the day styling some of the most philanthropic people in Atlanta at the most exclusive retail district in the city made for a fabulous day. Sure, it was work, but when you love what you do... A few bright, summery looks from Bonobos, glamour out of Alice + Olivia and polished looks from Theory. Perfection. The slideshow features a sneak peek of yesterday's looks but for the full experience you'll have to attend the 8th Annual Doggies on the Catwalk!

Buckhead Atlanta hosts Doggies on the Catwalk 7PM, Saturday June 13th. BA is located at 3035 Peachtree Rd. Atl 30305. *Valet available on Buckhead Ave. (between Etro & Jimmy Choo) Self-parking can be accessed off Pharr Rd.

Bring your stockpiled foreign currency, bills, coins, to Doggies on the Catwalk and International Giving will convert it to USD and donate to the Atlanta Pet Rescue! Look for their sign at the Check-in table.

BELLA BAG's Luxury Pop Up at Doggies on the Catwalk

When luxury retailer Bella Bag, located at Buckhead Atlanta, contacted me about participating in Doggies on the Catwalk I was thrilled! If diamonds are a girl's best friend, then Bella Bag carries the designer handbags that hold them. On Saturday, June 13th, Bella Bag will be hosting a Louis Vuitton Pop Up shop during Doggies on the Catwalk! You're pampered pooch will be the most stylish 'doggie' in the city with their LV collar, leash and carrying case. Bella Bag will take orders Saturday night and will donate 10% back to the Atlanta Pet Rescue & Adoption!

Bella Bag will have a prominent presence on the 'Catwalk' as well. They are pairing up Chanel, Celine and Dior, just to name a fabulous few, with looks from Theory, Helmut, Brunello and A+O! This is very exciting and kudos to Bella Bag and the participating brands for demonstrating neighborly fashion love.

Like many of us, I keep my laptop in one of those black nylon-ish cases that are all about function with little to no real style - until now! From the Oscars to the Met Gala, while I'd love to attend every award show, event and banquet, the CFDA Awards would probably leave me the most star-struck. It's the one time a year, even more than the Met Gala, that the biggest designers, legends and newbies alike, come together to to celebrate and honor the year's best. The Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards were last night at Lincoln Center in NYC. Congratulations to all the winners. See list below:
