Barneys, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, CFDA, and the New York City Economic Development Corporation have partnered to bring us a collection designed by top New York designers, manufactured in the U.S.A. and sold only at Barneys.
Thom Browne, The Row, R13, Narciso Rodriguez, Altuzarra, Proenza Schouler and Rag & Bone are the featured designers with looks and accessories for men and women. "We are a New York based company and the rich history of this city is deeply ingrained in our DNA. We feel a certain sense of pride in highlighting an industry that is still very much alive in New York," Barneys chief operating officer Daniella Vitale said. 10% of the proceeds from the Made In New York collection will benefit the Fashion Manufacturing Initiative.
The Made In New York limited-edition collection is available now Barneys.com and will be in display during New York Fashion Week September 10-17th at the Barneys storefront windows.
